My friend who is black went in a 1-1.5 weeks ago and was not asked their name for their cup, and then overheard the barista on bar ask the barista on front till who the drink was for. The barista on front responded with "Yeah I didn't ask because I thought the name would be hard to pronounce." I don't think I have to explain what's wrong with that. They then stood there waiting for their drink after that humiliation and when the drink was ready, the beverage wasn't called out for them. They eventually walked up and asked if the drink was their's. For a company that promotes themselves as a 'third' place, and aligns themselves with Black Lives Matter, this is an embarrassment.
