White Spot Courtenay — Restaurant in Courtenay

It disappointing that white spot courtenay management cares not about their online sales. Ordered off skip the dish and the experience was a nightmare with zero customer service by skip management. I didn’t get my food or my money back for over 3 weeks under very poor dispute management by Skip. Yes

Decided to inform white spot as I was a repeat customer and after speaking with the management about how I purchased $50 of food off them to not receive the food because skip the dishes is a brutal service. To my surprise, the management sluffed off the discrepancy with a response that I hired the driver and that it is not their concern.

I would like the management of courtenay white spot to be aware that yes the subcontracted delivery service is a reflection of white spot even if they have found a cleaver way to divest themselves from the overall service experience.

If local restaurants go into partnerships with delivery services, there should be better regulations to protect both the customer and restaurant from unwanted outcomes.

One things for sure, I used to order Courtenay white spot monthly. I boycotted them back in December due to lack of delivery protections by third parties.

Maybe it’s time restaurants get more involved with these third party delivery services. As far as I’m concerned, both skip the dishes and white spot, Courtenay...

last night i stopped in with my partner for a dinner. we have been going to courtenay whitespot for years. last night was the worst we have found it yet. they placed us in a booth which we asked for. settled in for a dinner. ordered a glass of so so red wine for 15.00 per glass and orddred. shortly after ordering the front counter person who placed us, put a family with a small under 2 baby right across from us. the child screamed a high pitch squeel for more than an hour. no one intervened. it was horrible. so after enduring this we got the bill, a 104.00 dollars for average meals a wine and a disgusting meal and environment. our waitress when she served me the bill said as i was cashing out that she was saving for her new car. a bomb that just dropped heavily on us..i felt she was trying to guilt us, two women, help her out with a larger tip. the whole evening was regrettable and made us rethink that next time we will go a little further down the street as all white wpot is good for now is maybe take out if that. it would be my last choice not my first shoice for a quick reasonalble priced...

While the burger was good, I was absolutely shocked at the price. Legendary burger with cheese and mushrooms, side of mayo, and a diet coke.

I was absolutely sticker shocked when I got the bill at almost $31.00 BEFORE tip. $2.50 for cheese??? $2.50 for mushrooms??? $4.50 for a diet coke??. I did not look at menu prior to ordering as I knew what I wanted, server was great. However, this is robbery, especially when you consider the fact that me, Joe Public can go to Costco and get 60 slices of cheese for $9.00. When a burger, fries and coke costs $35.00 after tip, I sat at the bar as I was alone, time to have burger somewhere else. Very disappointed. Have been a life long lover of White Spot and worked at White Spot in West Van over 50 yrs ago.

Follow up. Chris the manager actually phoned me regarding my review and we had an excellent chat regarding his restaurant, the industry, etc.. Was very impressed at his pro active approach and because of that, I will patronage his restaurant again. Good business, turning a somewhat negative...
