Cancun Mexican and International Restaurant — Restaurant in Cranbrook

I was driving through Cranbrook and decided to stop here based on the reviews.

This is possibly the worst burrito I’ve ever ordered in my life, I can’t believe this was $17. If I had ordered for dine in and this showed up on my table I would’ve sent it back but I had already left. I walked into the restaurant just after opening so I was the only customer inside. After I placed my order the gentleman walked into the kitchen and I heard a microwave. For me that is a major red flag restaurant should not be reheating food in a microwave especially authentic restaurants. I wish I would’ve left as soon as I heard the microwave. The tortilla 100% hands-down was not home made the rice tasted old and gritty the bean sauce was an edible. There was literally nothing in the burrito except pieces of meat and a sliver of cheese. I honestly don’t know how...

Authentic and fair prices. Very hard to find real Mexican food in BC and Alberta, so this was a nice find. Soups start around $7 and the main dishes don't exceed $20. The sample plate I ordered was $17. Portion sizes are good - complimentary chips and salsa was appreciated. You will get this in Texas and Mexico, but Canada doesn't tend to give anything for free. The menu isn't extremely user-friendly for those not familiar with this cuisine; however a quick Google search or asking the server can help solve any questions. It's always a treat to experience restaurants like these, and enjoy the unique flavours and family recipes. A previous reviewer was complaining about cash only? We had no issues paying debit, I think credit may not be accepted...

My boyfriend and I, went to Cancun Restaurant to have "Real Mexican Food" but this is not Mexican style...

We are from 🇲🇽, obviously we know about Mexican stuff.

I ordered Green enchiladas without sour cream or cheese, and the waiter brought me, Enchiladas Rojas.

My boyfriend ordered "Flautas" and they were different from authentic Mexican Food.

The flavour of the food is good, but the service is not top-notch,

We ordered a drink "Horchata Water" is the best one that I ever had here, you should try this one

We finished our meal and the server brought us the bill, ( we didn't ask for the bill), we wanted to order a dessert but instead, We paid and we leave.
