The Golden Flour Bakery — Restaurant in Creston

Their bread is awesome! She makes the most wonderful sandwiches. Fantastic soups and chili, you need to get there before early afternoon to get in on the soup, or chili. She makes the most delicious desserts and sweets (I especially like the Carmel Apple Fritter with whipped cream inside). But now I'm diabetic so I don't get to binge on sweets anymore. But if you have a sweet tooth, you owe it to yourself to go to The Golden Flour bakery and satisfy that tooth. Even if you are only passing through, you should definitely stop in to the Golden Flower. And the bread is awesome because it lasts longer, than then the bread you get at the supermarket. Is very convenient right on Canyon Street the center of town across from the Shoppers Drug Mart, at the traffic lights; you can't miss it. You usually don't have to drive around the block too many times to find a parking spot? There is parking out back, to the South that is like a mall parking lot. It is all good when you shop at the Golden flour Bakery shop. P.S. I had there breakfast sandwich like a Mc-Egger (Only better) and it is wonderful. I had a coffee and breakfast sandwich a couple of times and they have an excellent Cup of Joe, is the saying. We were told about Golden Flour Bakery how good the food is. Wondered over from Hotel for breakfast. The WOW factor kicked in as soon as we ordered at front counter in front of well stocked shelves with Glazed donuts. Fresh cinnamon rolls with raisins or not. Vanilla slices, long johns, freshly made cookies. Cheery danish. Plus freshly made loaves of bread. Buns! Making my mouth water just talking about them. I ordered the farmers with ham. 2 eggs, small cubed potatoes. Home made bread toasted. One of us ordered the huge veggie omelette. And it was huge. I've heard all about the bakery before. I even got here. I am from ontario I have to say I am so happy that I stopped there.I ordered two cheesecakes, two coffees, and one of their jelly filled donuts it has gotta be the best donut. I've ever eaten in my life. It was so fresh and the jelly was just dripping all over my hand I definitely will be there again tomorrow for one before I leave or definitely when I pass through.
