Haven’t been to Boston pizza since Covid started. Back in the day Boston pizza was a subpar restaurant. But then somebody Musta came in and turn the menu around and the food was better. But I got to say tonight the food was very subpar. I ordered the $30 steak the girlfriend ordered the $20 chicken meal. Things were going good until it was over a half an hour and our food still wasn’t here. I could see if there was a high volume of customers. But there was only our table and one other table on the patio and five tables inside. After 30 minutes when our food finally my fries were cold and my steak was barely warm. I had ordered a medium rare steak and it came medium well or well. Once the waitress Tasha came back and asked how things were I told her exactly what was wrong. 15 minutes later another girl came to the table and asked what our issues were with the food. I explain to her and asked her if she was the manager. She said no there are no managers on and the only reason she came to the table was she was the longest server that was at this location. Coming from a long line of executive chefs in my family this is not what I wanted to hear. So I explained that I would pay for my wife’s meal and I would like to have mine comped. So again 15 minutes goes by with nobody bringing a bill to us we had to go inside. Once inside we ask for the ladies ahead come out and talk to us. They were unsure of who she was. So finally somebody came up and asked if we were the people that had an issue with their bill. And that was the only time we were able to pay. Unfortunately this location of Boston pizza is very very very inexperienced people in authority positions. You do not put a waitress in charge only because she’s been there the longest.I really hope that other people that have the same experience report it because if not the subpar service that we received tonight will just continue. And the owners of this operation will just get away with serving very very subpar food and very very subpar service add a very...

HARD PASS - was excited to try the 31$ meteor pizza and was not impressed with the lunch meat and scant amount of sauce and cheese on the pizza. Meat sauce that appeared in the kids meal on pizza was not very tasty. The competition at this value is probably about 15$ cheaper. For the price it certainly was no where near gourmet and poorly executed.
Good - The nachos were ok everyone seemed to enjoy them.
Ok - the chicken wrap was just ok. Nothing special to write home about.
The customer service was missing I was lucky to see the waitress every 20-30 minutes. Seems I need to order alcohol in order to get serviced more frequently. The only happy looking person was the owner and the table cleaning support lady. The place didn’t appear to be too busy either which we all noticed.

Decided to try the BP burger, wife had the mushroom and spinach pasta and daughter had the spaghetti.
The mushroom and spinach pasta was very rich and tasty. Daughter enjoyed her spaghetti meal.
I ended up getting a pretty burnt burger which I was quite disappointed over after a long drive. While the waitress looked after my meal this is the second time Ive not had a decent meal from this place. I was hoping it was just one side but it tasted like one of those I tried to scrape off the burnt and cover it over with sauce deals.

Decided to dine in today ordered Kick'n Memphis Chicken Sandwich (super tasty, heat to it), Cactus Cut Potatoes (little heat), kids spaghetti and The Hungry Carnivore. Was not impressed with the hungry Carnivore. The cook didn’t bother to separate the pepperoni (you can see it stacked) and two all the meat was thrown in last minute from wherever it was being refrigerated from. It was quite evident the meat was not cooked as it was frigid from the rest of the meal. The dish was good though. The fishbowl drink was just simply...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible service, the worst I've experienced in years. I would never go back and I would not recommend this location to anyone. I never usually write reviews but I felt I had to let other people know about our experience, since most of the reviews seem to be positive. Food was mediocre. We went to the Portland St location on a Sunday night last week, so there were hardly any other customers there. We waited over 15 minutes for the waitress, I believe her name was Jessica, to even come to our table and greet us. Another 10 minutes to get water. I kept trying to make excuses for her because I am a waitress myself, and I feel bad criticizing someone else. But the restaurant was not busy at all. She didn't write down our order and so the order came out wrong. I politely let her know that's not what I ordered and all she said was "oh" then walked away. She didn't say sorry, I apologize I messed up your order, nothing. She acted as if we were inconveniencing her by pointing out that we simply wanted the correct food that we ordered. She didn't check in on us during the meal to see if we needed anything. The food was nothing special, and was overpriced. My friend ordered a pizza that was supposed to have tons of meat on it, and it came out with ONE piece of ground beef and a few tiny slices of pepperoni. But really it was the service that ruined the whole experience. At the end of the meal, my friend felt obligated to give her a tip, even though the service was terrible. She didn't say thank you for the tip, didn't say I appreciate you guys coming in, nothing. Very rude waitress, very long waits for no reason, and I guess that type of service is accepted by management. We watched a family with young children wait for 10 minutes at the front door to try to get someone to even come take their payment. I do not recommend...
