My wife and I popped into Chic n Roll in Dartmouth for lunch and I had one of the best veggie sushi meals in a long time: it was made fresh, beautifully composed, and utterly satisfying. The flavours were bright, the rice just the right texture, and every roll showed care in assembly.

On top of that, their spicy miso soup was absolutely delicious! Rich, warming, nicely spicy, with depth and umami that made me pause between bites. It felt like the perfect partner to the sushi.

The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and it’s obvious the team behind the counter knows what they’re doing. Everything tasted fresh, clean, and thoughtfully crafted. If you’re after great sushi (especially vegetarian options) and a spicy miso that hits the spot, Chic n Roll should absolutely be...

As i pass their location daily i decided to stop in and give it a try. A small family owned business from what i saw. The staff was friendly and welcoming despit being a little busy and my food was ready quickly. i got the 1/2 teriyaki chicken and i am impressed! Its the least greasy fried chicken ive ever had and easily the best. The sauce tasted fresh and there was alot of it. I will definitely be back. EDIT-ive gone back twice since and its been as good if not better. I have never had chicken so delicious. The staff was as always amazingly friendly. I cannot say enough about this place. They also have sushi so you should definitely check the menu out! It may be a little out of the way but it is definitely worth it. You will not be...

Dropped by after going to the Shubie dog park. There are only 2 tables if you want to dine in. Hopefully they can set up more tables outside so we can dine with our pups after a day in the park, weather permitting. Place is clean, food is great! So happy we have kchicken on this side of Hfx now. I’ve tried almost all of k chicken in HRM and this by far is the best, might even be at par to big chains like bbq chicken. Very crispy, juicy, flavourful and best of all, portions are great for the price. Would be nice to have a half and half or a 4 flavor box to enjoy different flavors in one order. The bulgogi was superb and the rolls were really good! Def recommend the torched ones. Overall, will dine again and recommend to others!

This is the place for Korean chicken. Menu is not overly complicated or complex. Prices are on point for the amount of food you get. We usually get the Yang-Nyeom Bone-in chicken, tteok ko chi (cause who can resist rice cakes) and a Dragon Roll or 2. Super tasty, very filling and enough for a lunch or dinner for two adults... with sometimes a few children pieces leftover for the next day... but that is rare.
