Total 5 star. More than just a canal with a lock. There are lots of well maintained trails and many "off the beaten track" too. The wild life are very used to people. We had ducks, squirrels, and pigeons walking all around us.

I walk my dog in this park every day - she loves it - we love it. Have been a park user for 10 years now since we moved to the area and it is a key factor in wanting to live in the neighbourhood. Walking, biking, hiking, geocaching amongst all the beauty of the park is something you get used to and would dearly miss if it ere not here. My son has also benefited via his scout troop which meets at Fairbanks and uses the park a lot in...
