I had another terrible experience at Walmart MacDonalds today. The service was beyond bad. The place was near empty so instead of riding online I decided to just go to the counter with only two ladies ahead of me. I thought they’d already been served since they were there for a bit but it turns out that they were not. There was a female loading juice pals in the fridge in plain view of us but she didn’t acknowledge us. I asked if she could possibly take our order. With distain, she said some male worker would be rt there. He eventually came, took the order but it was clear that he hadn’t been trained much on cash. He had to get her to help him. Then she returned to what she was doing. He then took my order and started to make their drinks but eventually had to go back to start my egg McMuffin which hadn’t even begun to be made. While he disappeared to do that another gentleman came into the counter and ordered a coffee and possibly a muffin. She had gotten right up to take his order and made his coffee rt away and still hadn’t made my teas while the guy was cooking the McMuffin. She then went back to filling the coffee into the filters and whatever else and so I had to ask if she could make our teas. I kept my patience. You see my 87 year old friend was needing the drink to take her Pill. The female worker wasn’t impressed that I asked for the teas. I also should mention that she was moving at a snails pace. She began to do as little as possible with regards to my order. Meanwhile, the egg McMuffin was still Cooking I presume. Got the teas and brought them to my table and gave my friend, hers. Then I told her what was happening and that I did not want to Buy anything from this establishment. I told her I had to return the teas and get my money back. Went back to counter and asked for my money back (still never saw the McMuffin). She was not a pleasant person. I worked at macdonalds as my first job when I was 16. I have learned many skills at that job that are still with me today. We treated our patrons so much better than many treat us now. We moved fast in order to get the food out, hot and quickly. We were proud of our work ethic and of our store. I made $2:50 an hour then but that didn’t make any difference. We were trained very well and so happy to have a part time job. When we left we headed to the other Dartmouth crossing MacDonald’s where we were served exceptionally well. It couldn’t have been better. I wish I knew her name (it was Mon. Morning, April 29th, 2024). The young manager at this Macdonalds happened to be the same manager for the other store, question. She handled my complaint as the girl at the other store Wouldn’t give out the managers name. Just said To go online. I would like to have a conversation with the owner of these places. I have left my name and my number with the manager at the crossing location. I’m taking the time to do this for the managers, the owner and for all the other patrons that get treated so badly when they arrive there. I have to wonder is it the lack of Training, lack of motivation, lack of suitable employees? I would very much like to see a big Improvement at this store or have it closed down. I can see all the other reviews and it’s not surprising to me at all that there wasn’t much good happening at this Walmart MacDonald’s. Thanks...

Myself and colleague visited here yesterday, Mar 5th, we were not even greeted by the server. She seemed upset and just asked what we wanted.. my colleague ordered a large hot chocolate. According to her, large hot chocolate is not available, so we suggested to ring in two small sizes and we'll take a large cup to pour it over. She said the system doesn't allow that, so we said we'll just take the two small, and this will solve the problem.
She became agitated and told us not to argue with her. We were taken aback by her sudden outburst, unprofessional and disrespectful customer service. I know McDonald's does not promote this kind of behaviour towards customers. I started my management career with McDonald's.
She then proceeded to the back of the kitchen and left us unattended, we wanted to order the muffin, and she refused to return. Then another employee came and we asked him for the manager to lodge a complaint. Guess what? ..turns out she's the manager. At this point, we couldn't help ourselves and burst out laughing. We were in disbelief! Then we were told that we would not be served and they're going to have us removed.
McDonald's should review the google reviews. Clearly, there's a need for immediate changes with their staff at this location. READ the Complaints. I'm not the first to complain about this individual. I'm aware that there's a labour shortage, but is this what we have to accept from McDonald's now?? If this is a franchise, I urge the owner to take our complaints seriously. Unless, of course, one does not care and fosters the unprofessional culture their customers are experiencing at this Walmart Dartmouth location. Next time, we'll stick to Tim's, much better...

There was no specific line where to place orders and people arriving after me were served first, when I brought it up to the employee when I was finally served , she just said I was to line up at the front counter next time, the employee also was unable to bring up an online order and did not know how to put a coupon into the system. When I asked to upsize fries she said she couldn't, she had to end up calling the manager over because she could not figure out how to retrieve my order, when I asked the manager if I could upsize my fries she said no, and I informed her I recieved the coupon from MacDonald's and nowhere on it did it say I was unable to upsize my fries, she said that I was unable to fo any coupon. I said that was fine and still wanted my order. When I recieved my order and got back in my vehicle, on our way home (I live a 5 minute drive away) my partner checked our order and realized our fries were cold and stale, and his fries (medium) had more in them then the ones I ordered (large), when we arrived home I called the phone number on the reciept , there was no answer and so I left a voicemail, however I have not heard back from them (it's been about 2-3 days now). I did take comparison pictures of the fries in case needed. The original employee who took my order was very unfamiliar with the system to place orders, and had no empathy that she took orders and served people as they arrived but made me wait about 5 minutes to serve me, even though there was no line up.
