I recently had the pleasure of trying pizza at the stone pizza shop, and I must say it was unique but average rating as per taste. The stone pizza, also known as a brick oven pizza, is prepared using a traditional method of baking pizza on a stone surface inside a wood- fired oven. Here’s my detailed review-

Crust- the crust of the stone pizza was not baked properly. We would love to eat well baked crust.

Toppings- There are multiple options of toppings and you can change your toppings with the other available toppings just in case of you don’t like any toppings. Like we replaced the top oh my veggies pizza from olives - jalapeño and mushrooms- pine apples.

Presentation- The stone pizza was visually appealing. The pizza came out of the oven with a beautiful golden crust and the toppings were artfully arranged. The aroma wafting from the pizza was irresistible making the presentation even more enticing.

Classics pep and cheese - I didn’t like the taste of it, although presentation wise it...

Honestly, Stone Pizza use to be one of our Go-to Pizza Places. Over the past year their food quality and portions went down, prices also dont balance the worth out.

We ordered the Garlic Fingers (added bacon / banana peppers) and Water Works Pizza. The bread was dry and uncomfortable to chew. Both pizza toppings were lacking, and paying for extra toppings to barely have anything put on… Disappointing to say the least.

Service was also bad which we never experienced before, we asked if the donair sauce was with the Garlic fingers, Woman working replied “I don’t know” and didn’t even bother to check because “she didn’t make it.” We ended up getting the sauce and it was extremely watered down, zero flavor.

Really do hope this place begins to flourish, adapt and become what it once was. That said we will not be...

There's always been a reason of why I only order Stone Pizza, which is hands down the best pizza in Dartmouth/HRM, but tonight gave me an entirely new reason. I placed an order for 2 pizzas for 5:30pm deliver, arrived exactly on time, but one of the pizzas was not what I ordered. Not only did the store correct it right away (I believe it was Andrew), but he personally delivered the correct pizza to me in less than 30 minutes, letting us keep the incorrect one as well. Considering it's Hurricane pizza that we're looking forward to having cold leftovers of, Andrew saved the day. I'll never order pizza anywhere else, especially after tonight. A huge shout-out to Stone Pizza's unbeatable quality, kindness and professionalism, and to Andrew and...

Had a small pizza and nachos delivered to New Scotland Brewing a few doors round. We ordered right from the menu at New Scotland. We enjoyed the pizza a lot. Quality topics like fresh pineapple and nice crisp bacon. Nachos were not bad either. I don't know what there cheese mix is, but it's good. My friend has mentioned the pizza several times since. I am sure we'll get it again. If there is just once thing I would have appreciated, it would be a small paper place. For this time, it was no issue to eat it straight from the box. Great pizza!

Their pizza and garlic fingers are amazing!! You can tell how much care the owner puts into everything. He makes most of his own sauces from scratch and has spent a lot of time perfecting the dough, and it shows! The pizza was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. You can really taste the difference compared to other local places! He also caters weddings, which says a lot about the quality and passion behind the food. If you haven't been yet, definitely check it out. It's a hidden gem and totally worth the visit!
