Burger King — Restaurant in Deep River

I'll give you the positive first. Their burgers are the best as far as Burger King goes. Unlike other BK's the lettuce is not soggy and the toppings are well put together. The best Whoppers I've tasted across Canada!

Now the negatives (oh so many): Don't even try the flavoured chicken nuggets. The last one was the ketchup flavour. They went in the garbage when I got home because they were so salty you could not eat them. The Dill Pickle one's were just as bad! I don't know if this was just this location but something was done wrong both times.

Out of stock: Ordered a Whopper with mustard. I was told "we are out of mustard". Out of mustard at a burger place!? Ice Cream cone? "Sorry we don't have cones we serve them in cups". As you pull into the drive-thru you see a picture of a mini shake. "Can I have a mini-shake". "Sorry we don't sell those". These are just examples.. many of these things have been fixed.

The drive-thru: or as many call a roller coaster. Fix your drive thru!! I've never seen so many potholes in a fast food drive thru. It's been like that for years and never taken care of.

As far as the staff.. usually pretty friendly. That has improved lately.

Final thoughts? Avoid this place... if there was a Mc D's in the area I would go there instead. But that's all we have so...

The Deep River location is not good at all. The lady at the cash was rude, unfriendly and unhelpful. For the second time in many months (close to a year) I tried to use a gift card here. Both times I was told they couldn't accept the card because "we just updated our systems". This must be the standard lie they use so they don't have to deal with the admin work of gift cards. The grill was down "momentarily" so they had a sign up saying no beef products were available. That's fair... stuff happens, right? So I ask the lady at the cash what the status is. Without askkng anybody working on the grill she tells me I can't order beef. That's no problem I said and we ordered chicken. I stepped to the left to follow my order and when I look back the sign was down and the guy behind me orders a whopper... I would have gladly waited one minute to order what we actually wanted. Now we get our food. There's a sandwich missing and we got an extra poutine that we didn't order. When the cashier noticed us telling the guy doing the order that the poutine must've been someone else's, she made ir quite clear that this was my fault. When you travel through Deep River and see Tim's is busy with people lined up out the door, and the Burger King is empty, you'll have a pretty...

we stopped in for lunch on way from Mattawa to Arnprior.. we were extremely pleased.. we ordered two veggie burgers, a whopper with cheese and bacon, chicken fries and rootbeer.. our server was friendly, and patient. we used the bathroom (nice and clean) after we ordered, and when we came out our to go bag was ready.. I said to my friend, "are you sure it's all in there? it cant be ready" (usually you have to wait longer on the veggie burgers).. but it was all there..we sat in the truck and started eating and we both happily exclaimed how amazing the food was.. surprisingly, as I mean it's Burger King.. we have been to hundreds.. but the burgers were delicious. .the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh, the patties tasted great, sauces were perfect.. we both laughed as we said they were the best burgers we had ever had... in fact its 5 hours later now and we are still randomly blurting out how great the food was.. Hence popping on here to post a review.. something I've never bothered doing.. we cant wait to stop there again in May when we travel...
