Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Deep River

The Deep River TH has been our go-to when we go camping. However, this morning I saw a fly in the donuts display and when I told 3 staff, these were their reactions:

1. “Oh?” then looked away and continued serving people.
2. “Where is it?” and tried to find the fly by peeking behind one donut tray then another, but not pulling out several trays in one go, which would’ve been most effective. She then gave up after about 10 seconds.
3. “What? Oh…” then continued serving me and that’s that.

While I could understand that they probably prioritized serving customers before chasing a fly out of the display, they didn’t even assure me that they understood my concern or that they would do something about it. Very disappointed! I ended up NOT buying any food. :(

Note that this is not the first TH outlet that I’ve seen a fly in the display. TH needs to find a way to prevent flies from...

I have been a supervisor at an ottawa location for two years in the past so i have high expectations, the hospitality of this location exceeds my expectations.

The staff were friendly and polite. I have been traveling and they allowed me to charge my phone in the back for 20 minutes.

The cleanliness was very impressive! A little bit of leaves on floor but that was it. No scuff marks, the air filtration was great. The air was not stale like many locations. The air wa crisp. The washrooms were spotless.

Amazed by the level of cleanliness, i even checked the chair and table legs, no gum, no salt or dirt stains, just clean.

ALSO timbits! The timbits were so fresh! So good! So yum! The glaze didnt harden, nothing was stale.

You can tell the owner takes alot of pride in his buisnesses and it shows. Good job owner and staff :)

Me and my friend Stopped by this location for a snack this evening on our way to Ottawa. We ordered some wedges and got to know they didn't have any so I was ok with it and ordered something else instead. Went again to order their new wraps to try them out and was informed by the Indian lady by the wrap station that they had wedges if I wanted some so I agreed to get them and my friend noticed that she gave me a very judgemental look and it wasn't not very pleasant. Thereafter, while I was dining in I overheard conversation from the staff members of how much I spent on food. I was not very happy about it 😕. She has no right to judge me on what I was eating and how much I am spending on my food. This is the slowest timhortons I av been to. After all this I don't think I want to stop by...
