i've been coming here for quite a while, and it has always been a pleasant experience! i always get the vietnamese flower tea, i love the sight of the chrysanthemum bud unraveling itself as i let the tea seep, and the tea turns into a beautiful yellow, too! the tea is wonderfully mellow and naturally sweetened by the goji berries, so no need for additional sugar. the blueberry and strawberry smoothies are great, as well. the atmosphere reminds me of old styled cafés i always went to back in vietnam, so it's nice. it's peaceful when there's not much people. it reminds me when i used to sit with fellow seniors who are family friends, that was always a good pastime. customer service has always been a delight. if there were any discrepancies, it was due to a language barrier, but i know that he's trying his best. it's no fault of the employee if he's in the process of learning a language fully to serve others. other employees also do their best as well. i've heard that the owner of the café doesn't always get accepting customers, one time a customer even escalated the situation out of their own self-entitlement. every time i come to the café, i try my best to keep an eye on him ever since that happened, even though i don't know him very well and vice versa, haha. i kinda wish i could give him a helping hand in the café but i can't speak french yet, lol. seriously, customers need to cut him some slack, it's not like it's easy to do what he does. i want to say more, but i can't think of anything else. i notice many customers give him especially a hard time and i take it to heart. tldr: try the vietnamese flower tea, it's the bomb. and be kind if not even kinder to your local small businesses. treat them with respect, and be patient. if you think they don't deserve that, try working in the food service industry yourself and see how you...
Read moreNice spot but food/drink was extra disappointing. I got the BB banana smoothie which was good but by no means a smoothie just a blended juice. I also got a blt on multigrain. When they brought it out I noticed it was toasted white bread. I asked if I could get the multigrain instead as I had ordered. Guy promptly took it back and girl returned with a new sandwich that maybe 1 side was in toaster for 12 seconds. Bottom was almost soggy and top didn’t feel toasted but was a bit rough which made me think toasted for a few seconds. For an $8 sandwich I definitely expected better. My bestie got the breakfast sandwich which was ham, egg, & cheese which came on a cheese bun? Both sandwiches were mostly bread. We ended up leaving having only eaten the insides which were very minimal. Was about $17 each and definitely not worth it. We don’t get out together often so we were excited to find a spot so close to where we take our kids rollerskating but unfortunately we will not be back. I’m honestly surprised anyone would have sent my sandwich out. Like toast it or don’t but do not do 1 slice for a few seconds as that’s just weird. Nice location with outdoor seating but that’s the only good thing I...
