Frenchie’s was absolutely amazing. We have been to Deerhurst many, many times, but this was actually the very first time we went to the crêperie. Our love affair with this extraordinary place started on Saturday afternoon when we decided to go there for a sweet treat for teatime. Mom got Monkey Around, and I decided on Monster Moose. Because we chose to remove the bananas from both crêpes, the owner problem solved and thought of a way to make it equitable since we were removing an ingredient. She didn’t feel it was right to charge us the same amount if the bananas were being removed. This really caught my attention, because restaurants normally do this. For mine, she offered to add vanilla ice cream with extra chocolate sauce to make up for it. She topped off our crêpes with whipped cream as well. That was just the customer service. The crêpes themselves were absolutely delectable. The proportions of all ingredients were absolutely perfect, and the crêpes were phenomenal. We learned that they were made from scratch by the co-owner who learned his craft in France. This started a lovely conversation about France and the boulangeries there. The next morning, we woke up early to grab breakfast at the crêperie. The owner had told us about freshly baked croissants with almond cream inside, and we were absolutely sold. We ended up buying a box of six chocolate almond croissants to take back home with us and had two savory egg crêpes for breakfast. My only regret, and this was completely on me, was asking for Sunnyside up instead of over easy eggs. For my own personal tastes, the over easy would have gone over well for my own palate. However, the combination of balsamic vinegar, arugula, feta, and pesto was absolutely brilliant. On our way out of Deerhurst, as a storm was rolling in, we ran by the crêperie to pick up one last croissant for a neighbor back in Toronto. Although they were desperately cleaning up and closing up, the owner graciously took my order just as a huge crack of lightning descended upon the resort. All in all, I cannot recommend this establishment more. It is an absolute must for anyone visiting Deerhurst or even passing by the resort. The food is amazing and the customer service is absolutely out of this world. The graciousness, joy, and interest in serving their customers is palpable. I am so happy to have found this absolute gem. The next time you go there, or if you go there for the very first time, please have an extra croissant for me! Thank you Frenchie’s! See you in the summer.

Frenchy's Bakery Creperie is a charming, food truck-style gem by the lake that delivers a fantastic breakfast and lunch experience. The savory menu items, especially the fresh croissants, are simply unbeatable. Opening at 7:30 a.m., it's the perfect spot to grab a delicious bite to eat and a good cup of coffee while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Although they don't offer espresso, there are plenty of brewed coffee options to satisfy your caffeine needs, and the kid-friendly menu makes it a great choice for families. What really sets Frenchy's apart is the owner's dedication. They take the time to explain everything and ensure that every customer leaves happy and satisfied. If you're looking for a cozy spot with great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere, Frenchy's Bakery Creperie is a must-visit.

What a lovely little piece of crepe heaven in amongst the beauty of the lake and trees! I found this place on Google Maps and the reviews were great so we decided to give it a try. The service was great, the crepes were so delicious and authentic and the coffee was great too. There was even a place for us to sit on the deck and enjoy. Would definately recommend this little gem of a place to treat oneself and take in the surrounding beauty of the area!

"Leading up to our wedding we were bragging about having Frenchie's Crepe Cafe as our late night snacks, and Sam and Thibaut exceeded our expectations. Prior to the big day they had excellent communication and made the extra effort to visit the venue and come up with a plan for where to set up and when. The day of the wedding they arrived nice and early to park the trailer and returned later to do final preparations before beginning to serve our guests. All night and for a week afterward we heard from just about every guest how amazing the crepes were, how friendly Sam and Thibaut were and how having Frenchie's there was the perfect, and unique end to the night. Working with them was stress free and we would not hesitate to have them back at another big event in...
