My boyfriend and I went in 17 minutes prior to closing - we understand that not everyone likes customers prior to close, however there were 17 minutes left open. If you don’t want customers before 9:00, close earlier. The young lady working was less than pleasant especially when my boyfriend asked if it was acceptable for him to order a smoothie. She wouldn’t look at us, there were no smiles, and when he ordered the specific one her tone was rude in response, almost to the point where we wanted to leave as we felt unwelcome. I normally hate Google reviews, but had such an amazing experience in there tonight I wanted management to know what kind, considerate, and personable staff they have. I work in the hospitality industry and would hire any of these great people on my staff. Lana( I hope I got her name right) was making her dinner. I asked for exactly what she was having because it smelt delicious! She happily explained what it was and got my portion ready. The real kindness that made a long day soo much better. I used to frequently go to the Pita Pit in Bowmanville, Ontario and IT WAS LEGENDARY! Went to a new one in Oshawa and it was meh. Never went back. That was three years ago.

In Bracebridge, hangry, the hubby and I stopped in for a quick late lunch. I ordered a chicken rice bowl and it was very filling and large considering it was referred to as "regular" size. I will admit there wasn't a lot of chicken in there but that seems to be the norm these days in these protein bowls.
