Terrible waitress the other day when my friends and I were hoping to get a table. Mind you, we weren't expecting to be seated given the gradual dine-in stage but we wanted to check out the scene. When lining up at the entrance, we asked to be seated in the dining room. The young man at the podium wasn't sure so he asked the on floor waitress if there was an available table for 3 patrons. The waitress scampered to the kitchen while shouting, "No, no, no tell them we have no room!" The young man at the podium turned to us, embarrassed, and attempted to politely relay her message but it was loud and clear from that waitress we were not welcomed here. Teach your staff manners because if that waitress can snap like that, we can at least get an estimate time to when a table will become available (which we didn't). I didn't even bother to ask. Just disgusted at such an attitude. There was an old couple behind us, who was turned away as well and wasn't given an estimation either. Is that how you treat elderly people?...
Read moreSunday afternoon, no one seated in the restaurant, one person in the drive-through before me was told to pull over and waited. 15 minutes for their meal. I too waited a little over 15 minutes, went to complain, and the girl I spoke to was very rude, contradictory, and claimed that we had not been waiting as long as we had. She told me that no matter when you go through the drive-through you have to pull over and you do not get your food at the window. She accused me of yelling at her, which I did not do, I just challenged her disagreement that there’s no point in going through a drive-through if you have to wait 15 to 20 minutes for your meal, I will never go to the Swiss chalet again, and it is not because of the food which my fries were cold and inedible, but because of the service of this one particular girl, she then yelled through the window of the vehicle that she was delivering food to at me on...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. For the first time in all of our years of dine-in experience, we just walked out of a restaurant hungry. We waited over 30 minutes and not once did our waitress, Stacey, come over, not even to say hello. We watched her walk to the other tables in our section, talking and serving other customers. We really tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, but when we saw both groups that arrived and were seated within minutes of us, get their food, we had had enough. I wish to point out that one group was in Stacey's section and the other was in Jen's, who was doubling as the hostess.
We decided to drive over to Chuck's Roadhouse. We were welcomed by the hostess, seated and approached by our waiter within 5 minutes of arriving and our order taken approximately 10 minutes after that. Oh, I would be remiss if I did not mention that they were three times busier than the...
