We had the most delightful picnic in the park today thanks to Parse Persian Food! We ordered takeout and were absolutely thrilled with the quality and quantity of the food. We chose the gheimeh bademjan (with eggplant), meatball, and tahchin dishes, and each one was bursting with authentic Persian flavors and spices.
From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and polite. They patiently answered all our questions about the dishes, ingredients, and prices, making us feel completely at ease. Their friendly and helpful demeanor really enhanced our experience.
The restaurant itself is impeccably clean, and it was clear that many of the customers were local Persians, which speaks volumes about the authenticity of the food. While there are a few stools for a quick bite, it's primarily a takeout spot. The aroma of real Persian cuisine filled the air, and the prices were very reasonable.
We highly recommend Parse Persian Food for anyone craving delicious and authentic Iranian food. We'll...
Read moreThank you for being so gracious and helping us broaden our scope of Persian food. I love trying new cuisines but it can be intimidating to know where to start. I have had kebab before living on the North Shore most of my life. The staff were so lovely and welcoming. Offered us samples of the various stews, soups and rice's dishes while we waited for our food to be prepared. All were delicious. We ordered Joojeh kebab but I added some barberry and crispy onions. The lovely woman gave us a side of the walnut pomegranate sauce. We also ordered a meatball. All were delicious and filling, as well as quality.
We will definitely be back, especially after feeling welcomed. The place is so clean and pleasant when you come in. I cannot wait to try some of the stews as a main dish. I also look forward to the saffron rice pudding. Keep up the great work!
My one suggestion would be to have more descriptions of the food for those who are new to Persian cuisine but the staff were so helpful that it is part of your charm and...
Read moreThe good: portion sizes, prices, friendliness. The bad: disorganized order system, food taste is hit and miss (probable cause explained below). The ugly: hygiene! The food remains right under several staff members behind the counter, who talk a lot right above all that food about to be served. More than once I noticed droplets of saliva jumping from their mouths into the air and obviously falling on the food right below them, that not to count arms sweat and the other day when the man closest to the kitchen window was coffing and rubbing his nose/face right before continuing to handle the foods. No gloves or phisycal barrier between their mouths/noses and the foods.. I really wanted Parse to be different from other restaurants with simillar problem.. If they talk so much while serving the foods, they should just install glasses right above the baskets, same way every Whole Foods buffet has it set up. Small cost for the great sanitary gain customers would...
