Worst service ever!!! Salty food!! I live nearby and wanted to try out this hot pot place which had pretty good reviews. Never should’ve believed it. The waitress had no manners or should I say rude, was busy eating her own food, didn’t want to serve us from the beginning. Gave us a only the hotpot menu during lunch time but while I was looking on the website realized there was a lunch menu. I asked if I can order the lunch menu and then she throws the lunch menu with an ‘oh’. The food was salty and dry. There was no water given or any drinks asked which I had to ask the waitress. She still was busy digging her food which I had to make several attempts for a cup of water. Obviously at the cash register the tip was automatically set for 15%. Just a bad joke! No thank you or goodbye afterwards. Maybe the waitress had a bad day. But don’t spread it to customers. Besides, food wasn’t good. NEVER GOING BACK and at least ppl around...
Read moreTbh, I had low expectations coming in to this place (didn't read the Google reviews before coming in) based on the appearance of the exterior and funny lion graphic.
Interior actually looks decent. Menu is well put together and easy to understand. Waiter who served us was easy going, well spoken, and had a good sense of humor.
I ordered the bacon main pot with chicken soup. My friends ordered seafood and meat pot with the preserved egg soup with cilantro; I wished I ordered it instead, the preserved egg (thousand year old egg, can be something that one must acquire a taste for) was sooooo good. We all ordered udon as our carb dish but there's the option for rice vermicelli and regular rice.
There were sooooo many veggies. It came with a frozen shrimp which was actually sweet! The veggies were actually super delish.
5/5, would recommend and come back again...
Read moreFirst time for hot pot and it was a great experience.
I think I walked in during a slow time since I was really the only one there even as I finished eating. I came here specifically because of the other reviews and they were spot on. I got the Prime Rib hot pot with kimchi broth(pay for broth separately) and it was amazing and filling. Prime rib was nice and when cooked correctly(left too long sometimes) it was juicy and the dipping sauce only added to it after the broth soak. I got the udon which was a nice to have a carb with the vegetables and felt like a full rounded meal.
Highly recommend this as a stop for anyone on a cold/rainy day meal. Also menu prices were cheaper then some of the stuff posted around at this location. Prime Rib was 23 vs the 25-27 that was posted...
