Been a customer here for many years; sometimes things are slightly off but never a major problem... That is until this morning (Sat. Sep.8/18 around 10am). Ordered #5 breakfast sandwich BLT with egg on multigrain bagel with sausage instead of bacon... I've been ordering this sandwich the same way from 3 McDonald restaurants about 4 times per week & rarely have a problem & when I do, it is corrected immediately... I sat outside with my wife & she opens up sandwich to find no sauce, no tomato & no lettuce... I bring it back to the counter & a manager asks me what's wrong... I say they forgot to put tomato, lettuce & sauce... He asks me what I ordered, so I tell him... His answer is "next time order the sausage with egg sandwich... I say that one doesn't come with tomato, lettuce & sauce... He says none of the breakfast sandwich come with sauce, only butter... At this point I'm really really confused because I order this all the time & he is messing with my head... I say look at your menu picture, it shows sauce with the lettuce... He says that's mayonnaise... I say mayonnaise is NOT BUTTER... He says I'll give you some on the side... I say if I order the other sandwich you're suggesting, I'll have to pay extra to order tomato & lettuce & sauce... He says yes... I say then I'll be charged for extra toppings... He says yes, that's what you have to do because there are too many choices... I say that's rediculous, I take my sandwich & leave... As I'm telling my wife outside that I think this manager is an idiot, a young Indian man in his twenties comes over to me & says, yes, that Indian manager is an absolute idiot... He claims that it's his 1st day in Quebec & he sat down outside with a coffee from Tim Hortons... This manager comes outside & yells at him GET OUT OF HERE! I said I understood that drinking Tim Hortons coffee at McDonald's was not the right thing to do & this young man agreed & said he made a mistake... But he said how can a manager be so aggressive & rude to him... All he needed to say was that the seating area was reserved for customers of McDonald restaurant & ask him to please leave, but instead he yelled at him to GET OUT OF HERE! I agreed with the young man who was exasperated from his 1st day in our great province & told him that he will have a wonderful day regardless, the sun was shining bright & although the manager's behavior was terrible, perhaps he was just having a bad day... See, the thing is, that if you work in the hospitality industry, there's no such thing as having a bad day because you are serving people & if you cannot be at your best, you shouldn't be at work! I overheard this manager bragging to a table of elderly gentleman outside about his working for 16 years at McDonald's, etc. He should know better & in my opinion does not promote the brand, policy or customer loyalty properly! Send him back for training because the way he argued with me & was repeatedly wrong, I'm already boycotting this location through my extended family & all my contacts... I'm a strong believer in supporting businesses that try hard, even if they make mistakes & get it wrong sometimes... I'm also a strong believer in boycotting businesses which are indifferent, argue with their customers & don't try to make it right... A manager is supposed to be a role model to their staff, but this guy seems to get off on being a bully & teaching his employees how to be a bad manager & give his customers a...
Read moreThe drive thru lady is unable to understand my order even tho I was very clear and specifically stated what I wanted item by item and confirmed it with her twice! After receiving the wrong order, I had to go in to tell them it was wrong and told them what I wanted initially. They told me to go back and wait in the car and they would bring it to me after. Once received it the second time, the sandwich was lacking tomatoes and lettuce... They added the cheese but then remove the lettuce and tomatoes... Something is clearly not right with these employees.
I then walked back a second time (mind you it was -15 outside and I went to the drive thru to avoid leaving the comfort of my car) and told them this is unacceptable, they offered to add the lettuce and tomatoes, it took 15 minutes to obtain my sandwich, which was cold by the time I received it. I decided to not take it and asked for a refund as I not only received a cold sandwich, but also lost my appetite with all this frustration. The manager was useless in understanding my frustration and even defended his employees saying I was not talking clearly. If there is one thing I learned in customer service is to never blame an frustrated customer, take responsibility and assume the mistake. They all frustrated me to the point where I was unable to eat and ended up skipping my meal for this day.

Read moreWent there to eat the other day and my order wasn't ready for my pickup order I ordered on my cell and when I got inside it was a manager guy he was dressed like a new dress shirt and he was talking with the window cashier in some other language anyways whatever language I think they should have been speaking either French or English so the customers could understand cuz they would look at me and talk to each other and laugh so I felt uncomfortable, Food was good though. This place has been here forever that's very good My dad almost bought it years back, it's all around a good place to go. I went back lately anything they got rid of the Asian manager so hopefully the next one gives better service. Bonne chance McdoDorval they have a location in lachine not far from there and it's really AMAZING Go eat there now ! It's not gonna ruin your supper...YOU GO NOW ! GO! GO EAT NOW! YOU GO EAT NOW ! Whys everyone doing an accent while reading that last part GO HAVE A TRIO OR MORE, MAYBE A DESSERT....ya....ice cream ... STOP ASKING YOURSELF AND JUST LEAVE AND DON'T STOP TILL YOU ORDER.
