Pac Pac Mtl — Restaurant in Dollard-des-Ormeaux

The food was very hot and made to order which was nice. The poutine was pretty good though, nothing special. The chicken strips were really flavourful but, the texture was terrible. The chicken was tough and the coating was somehow chewy instead of crispy even though I eat it immediately. They were so disappointing i threw out half the chicken strip. They weren’t worth finishing. Where this place really disappointed is in how expensive it was for the quantity you get. 28$ for 6 small chicken strips, a small poutine, a can of soda and an order of fried Oreos. When I asked for 2 dipping sauces I was told that I could only have 1. If I wanted a second I’d have to pay extra $$$. Also, they forgot to put 1 of the 3 food items I ordered Into the bag. I went back in and they gave it to me but, when I am the only person in the restaurant and I only order 3 items, I generally expect to get all of them on the first try. Had I taken it home instead of eating on site I’d have been really upset that something was missing. The Oreos were really good though. That alone might be worth a return visit.

Overall, I’d say there is a first and last time for everything. While they are trying to deliver a quality product, they fell short on nearly every element. If I’m going to eat something bad for me like fried chicken, it had better be great and worth the calories. Definitely not...

2023 update: What a great way to start the new year.

Spicy Crispy chicken sandwich, dirty fries, chicken strips and boasted chicken... yes it is sooo good, it is hard to decide. We enjoyed the extras the next day 😉.

The KitKat and Oreo Frit were the best way to finish with.

Amazing food and very friendly staff. I have been trying different menu items and everything is very well made and tastes great. Last visit I had the spicy chicken burger with cheese, the fried chicken and the chicken poutine (the last two I shared 😀) ... beside enjoying a large amount of the great food, I didn't feel stuffed later on the day like when you eat fast food. This restaurant uses high quality products for sure.

I was walking looking for a place to grab a bite as I got off the airplane and found this place. I ordered the Spicy burger all dressed as recommended. When it was ready I picked up at the counter and sat down( table was not wiped down but I figured it was 10pm maybe they were going to close ) It looks like a huge chicken burger, loaded. I took a bite and enjoyed that first bite Spicy crunchy . I took another bite and felt that it seemed too crunchy. So I decided to open the burger to see how it looked . All that sauce etc not surprising as many good burger have that mess under the hood. I peeled open the chicken and found a thin slice of chicken. The chicken was cooked fine but that breading was wayyyyyy too much for me and my gut. I ate the chicken slice and left the rest. So 3 out of 5 for me . Price point too high for bread and crunchy stuff not enough chicken. But that just my opinion and seems like others...
