Joro Sushi — Restaurant in Montreal

Great food! We ordered online and when my father went over to pick up the food, they were not ready yet because they were working on another big order, but they started working on our order right away. My dad saw that they were using fresh ingredients. He said it was a small place that seemed to be family run.

When I finally got the sushi, I saw that they included an extra container of maki rolls for free. I don't know if this was a mistake or if they did this because they were late with our order.

The food tasted INCREDIBLY fresh! I just wish they didn't use so many plastic containers, but hey, I wish that about a lot of places.

I 100% recommend this place and will be going to Joro Sushi...

I had originally left a negative review after a disappointing phone interaction while placing a party order — the tone felt dismissive, even though I was being polite. I’ve always loved Joro Sushi and recommended it to so many people, so I was genuinely upset at the time.

To my surprise (and appreciation), the owner personally called me to apologize. That kind of follow-up shows real care and accountability, and it absolutely changed how I felt about the experience.

Delicious, fresh sushi! I'm so impressed with the customer service from this place. I called because I was going to place an order on Uber Eats and I had a question about their menu. During the call my Uber Eats app refreshed and I was no longer able to order as there was no more cars available in the area for delivery. The owner of the restaurant went out of his way to come deliver my order to me, even though they don't personally do delivery. The food was very good. I will definitely be ordering...
