Restaurant Olympia Grille - DDO — Restaurant in Dollard-des-Ormeaux

Ordered a few things through Uber eats and got the "Butter Chicken Combo" for $18.99 (on Uber eats). It didn't come with a Rice or Naan or both. Just the butter chicken. Not sure why this is a combo if it only came with the butter chicken, unless they forgot about it. I don't think a small tub is worth $18.99 for said "combo." First of all, I've tried quite a few butter chickens from different places and this one was just meh. It felt more creamy than buttery (I think they put too much cream that it lost the flavour it normally packs). 1/5 Butter chicken combo rating (taste to price and portion not good enough)

Malai Chicken Tikka ($17.99 on uber eats). Again, I've tried this in other restaurants. The picture looks like it was grilled and dry, but the one I got is with some kind of yogurt/cream sauce. It taste creamy and cheesy (although there might not be cheese in it). Taste wise, I quite liked it even though it's different than what Im used to. But if you're looking for something grilled dry (no sauce), this ain't it. Taste 4/5 rating ($17.99 is a bit pricey for me though; however uber eats order tend to be a bit more expensive than in the restaurants in my experience - not sure if this is true here).

Lamb Biryani (Mild) $15.99 on uber eats. I think this is the best out of all my orders today. The mild is pretty spicy already so it's perfect for me. I do eat a decent amount of spice than regular so if you don't eat spicy food, this might come a bit too spicy. Went to Olympia last month (March-mid afternoon) everything was perfect from the food to the service. Had the grilled chicken with rice, patatoes, and salad. Ordered cheesy yummy garlic bread as an appetizer too.

Decided to go back again (April-mid afternoon) well let's just say we weren't impressed. The chicken wasn't as juicy lacking flavor as well. Not sure why but the rice and potatoes (this time were greasy) weren't the same as before? They tasted/looked completely different? Waitress wasn't friendly at all, never came to check on us. Even stranger was the fact that while we were finishing up waiting for the bill (which never came - we went to the cash to get it) sipping on our drinks, table had dirty dishes/napkins and such a busboy came along and was placing clean plates and bowls which I'm assuming was for the next customers for when the supper buffet starts. Makes no sense to put clean dishes on a dirty table while previous customers are finishing up at the table.

Both times however the soup was very tasty.

Please remember to check your receipts. We were charged for an extra slice of cake and drink that we never ordered. We were served mango lassi that had already gone bad - the milk fat was separated from water with lumps in it. The appetizer came on time and then we waited for an hour before the rest of the food was served. When we inquired, they said the all the chefs were on break. The tea was reheated. One of us ordered masala chai and was given regular tea, was told they'd fix but brought back the same one. And after all that, the server added an automatic tip to the bill. Probably the most inefficient service staff we ever came across. We were served by three different servers who weren't all on the same page. We asked to speak to the manager which they didn't let us. We went back two times to have them refund us for the extra charge and for the completely unwaranted tip. I noticed that the replies to the negative reviews are immature and defensive. We really wanted to love this place and planned this outing a week in advance. For the amount money we spent, the experience was disappointing. Unfortunately this was our first and last visit and we will advise family and friends to spend their money...
