If I could give this a 0 I would. When we walked in there was a woman already getting sassy with me and my family about where we entered. Next my mother ordered a coffee seeing as our flight was delayed by 4 hours after a 9 hour flight she was going to need it. When she needed another one my step father went to the bar to ask for another when the bartender borderline laughed in his face saying he was too busy for something like that. If busy is taking shots on the job he’s nailing it. Otherwise very pathetic and disappointing. This man definitely lives with his mother at his grown age. Next, we asked for the bill and our “server” if you can even call him that brought the manager who then said it was our fault because we couldn’t find him early enough, saying it was “too late for him to do anything now”. How about telling your bartender to stop trying to get blackout drunk and try having some common decency with other citizens. (He had also thrown someone’s free meal ticket at their face saying and I quote “this is for food only didn’t you read it”) The manager was hiding behind a wall in the restaurant. How do you expect me to find you and talk about your awful service if you’re hiding. Clearly there’s a reason you are. Overall, a sad excuse for a restaurant I wish I would’ve gone to Tim Hortons or something instead of wasting not only my time but my money as well. What a headache. Side note: the following photo is literally not visible anywhere else in the restaurant aside from outside of it.

The staff are fine, the floors are slightly neglected but the tables and seats are clean. I was at the airport for two days, I ate here twice cos I couldn't find seating fast enough anywhere else. This is the biggest restaurant on the domestic side that I could see, but there's another reason there are always tables to spare here. The first day I ate here, the server took my plate from right under my nose whilst I was still eating and didn't ask if I was done. I felt so rushed. The second day the fish and chips batter on the inside was uncooked/raw ion one side of the fish, so I left half and pushed the food aside, for this, I was actually asked if I was done with the food at least. The cocktail tasted like water. The soup tasted only of salt. The burger was dry and the chips were really mediocre. It's good that there's a place that always has tables and you can get a drink or order food. But the food, from what I ordered there, was all pretty bad. It's overpriced as airports are. If you can find a spot somewhere else, do so. If you have nowhere else to go, just know it's gonna be bad. I think it can stay in business cos there aren't that many places to sit and eat on this side of the airport. Thankfully, I didn't get sick from eating some of the raw batter. I didn't complain cos I was tired as is from my flight delays. I'm happy I can leave this review knowing I likely won't be at that airport again any time soon.

The restaurant is actually quite decent in terms of space and food. But a waitress ruined the whole experience. I came early and had lunch, the waiter who served me told me that I could stay as long as I like, then I just chilled and worked on my computer. Then they shifted, and the old lady came and asked do I want sth, I said no and tried to explain I already purchased sth and was waiting for my canceled-and-rebooked flight, my receipt was right on the table as well. But she was not patient enough to let me finish my line and said “I just want you to know that you can’t stay here without ordering anything for so long and use this place as your office”. My flight was about to board so I just said ok. But the more I think about it, the more I feel offended. It is totally ok if there’s a time limit without ordering, but it should be told in advance. Telling me I could stay as long as I like when I made the payment, and later another person coming and told me to stop using that place as my office as if it was my fault was totally rude. I see other comments mentioning someone being rude and assume maybe the lady had a bad day, well seems like someone’s days are often bad. But hey, her “bad day” has ruined my already-bad-enough day and made my 5-star impression to this place 1-star. GOOD JOB!

Avoid! Horrible service. Dishonest! No one was available to seat you. When I asked a server about using Priority Pass, she said the machine was not working so we ended up leaving. I found that strange and went back about 15 minutes later to speak to another server. She said they do take Priority Pass and since I wanted to do take out, she told me to order from the lady working at the bar. That lady (I believe her name is Jessica based on my receipt) completely ignored me. When I tried to flag her down, she said that she was very busy and "you just got here right?". She was very rude and curt in her responses. When finally ordered, i told her I would be paying using my Priority Pass. She was basically walking away from me as we were speaking and muttered "oh Jesus" under her breath....as if it was so difficult to process a Priority Pass payment. I also ask her for some hot water as I needed to warm some milk for my baby. After it's processed, she says she will bring the other machine over so that I can pay tip (even though i was doing take out since I had a plane to catch). I tipped her and then she left helping other customers. Meanwhile, I wait 10 minutes for her to bring me some hot water. I remind her a few times and she just calls out to me across the bar saying she's busy and will have to get it from the back. At this point, I'm pretty fed up as she notices that I'm waiting for hot water, yet ignores me and processes other customer payments, gets meals out and is making drinks. I decide I won't bother with this meal since I had a flight to catch and she did not seem like she had any intention to serve me. I tell her I'm leaving and that I didn't want my meal anymore. She asks "are you sure? it's almost ready" to which I replied I was sure and that I wanted my tip back given that I didn't get a meal or service. She said she would not give it back and if I wanted, I could speak with her manager. Since i didn't have time to do this, I just left.

Overall, Jessica (as per my receipt) deserves to be fired based on her attitude and complete lack of attention to customer service. I basically paid for a meal with Priority Pass and tipped yet got absolutely...

I recently ate at this restaurant in the airport, and to be honest, it was a real letdown. 30-40$ per plate (not 20-30 as shown).

I don't mind paying top dollar for a good meal, but in this case, the quality of the food and the service just weren't up to par. I felt like they knew they had a captive audience, so they didn't put in much effort to make the experience memorable. I have 2 stars for atmosphere because of the large windows that overlooked the taxi ramp.

As someone who grew up in Montreal, I know that we can sometimes come across as a bit "stuck-up" to outsiders. But this was the first time I experienced it firsthand, and I have to say, I was pretty disappointed. My wife and I were hungry and excited to try the food, but everything we ordered was either bland, cold, or unavailable. Not a great start.

The service wasn't anything special. Our waiter was just doing the bare minimum and seemed to be in a bad mood. He even got into a spat with another customer at a nearby table, which was uncomfortable for everyone nearby. When it came time to pay the bill, he made sure to let us know that the tip wasn't included within the final price. Unfortunately, we had already decided not to tip (first time ever) because the service was so lackluster, but his comments didn't help the situation at all.

As we were leaving, the waiter chased us down and started yelling at us openly within the restaurant. He claimed that his bosses would make him pay the difference if he didn't get a tip. It was awkward and unnecessary, and it just made us feel even more frustrated.

I understand that everyone has bad days, but that's no excuse for serving subpar food and giving bad service. In my opinion, a tip should be earned, not expected. His frustration about pay should have been directed towards his employer, not his customers. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone, and I rate my experience a 2/10.

Pay your employees and your customers will notice...

If I could give service a - 5, I would do it. The location looks nice. Good quality is good. Now about the service: we were sitting for 15 mins at the table and no server wanted to approach us. When we politely waved to get their attention the server told us we have to wait (With an attitude). After 15 mins we walked up to the server and asked to order (we have a flight to catch). He really had an attitude taking the order, when we asked for a latte, he snapped at us saying that takes too long, we should order a coffee instead. He brought us our latte and then wanted to bill us right away and said you can tip 18 or 20 % if you wish. He tried to put pressure on us to tip him after having an incredible bad attitude. There is no auto grat at this place. I am a restaurant manager in Vancouver and if I would ever see one of my servers speak to a guest that way, I would fire them on the spot.

The server didn’t give me his name but he looks like he is in his late 40 maybe 50 ‘s. Black short hair and glasses. I will never eat here again. You can have stress at a restaurant but it was not even busy. That attitude was a no go. I had breakfast at this place on December 30th at 8:40 am.

Edit: when I was trying to give him feedback after our visit, he completely rejected any feedback, made excuses that there was stress (it was not even a quarter full ). He told me I just don’t get it. They would have a different system the us in Vancouver. As if that would have anything to do with being rude and having an attitude and forcefully try to get a tip.

A server like that would not stay for even a week...
