Well folks, zombies have finally arrived in Montreal. Me and my wife wanted a breakfast sandwich and a coffee when we arrived to the airport. Saw that Tim Hortons sign. Bingo! There were only 5 people in line. We waited at least ten minutes (time it took for the cashier to walk from the donuts to the cash register). Granted, it's at least 5 meters but still, she could have walked a little faster. Once we ordered, we got to the second line. The first guy had ordered a wrap of some sort. The girl was looking for wraps. Slowly walked to a round plastic container, which is where the wraps were. There seemed to be 2 in the container. She did not see them. ? She made her slow way to the back kitchen. Took out 3 piles of wraps sealed in plastic. Came back agonizingly slowly to the wrap container. She noticed there were some in there. So back to the back kitchen she went! To deposit the 3 bags that she brought. Then took out the wraps. (Did I just write about 5 sentences about a woman getting wraps?). But then... THEN! Came the process of spreading margarine on the wraps. Ohhh boy! I think I saw about 20 years of my life pass before me before her first knife swipe was about halfway across the wrap. By then we had been at the Tim hortons for about 25 minutes. With only 5 customers! Not one of them served yet! Anyways, once she started her second swipe of margarine, we just had enough and figured we were going to miss our flight, which was scheduled to depart in 5 hours.
We got the heck out of there because we couldn't take the wait anymore (even though we had paid! Yes it was that damn long!!).
We went to the subway instead and got served the breakfast panini and coffee in about 25 seconds.

I wish I could tell you this is all a joke but unfortunately, it's all too real.
Don't forget to go buy boards and nails, because the zombie invasion might reach your home in a...
Read moreI work at the airport and visit this tim hortons often. You can expect to wait 15 minutes if you want just a coffee. The staff is generally nice, but a few of them aren't qualified for service. I often have to wait for people who order sandwiches and what not, should there be a coffee line, things would go much smoother. The one time I wanted a bagel the employee named "Matthew" refused to serve me and claimed that they don't serve bagels after 8:30, while I was there at 8:29. Seems he was looking for any excuse not to work. The time they close often changes as well & if you ever ask to speak to the manager or inquire on a time where speaking to him would be possible, the employees act dumbfounded, the employee I spoke to "Matthew" claims he has never seen the manager and that the manager just shows up whenever he wants without consistency. Basically telling me it would be impossible to do so. It's the only timmies in the vicinity, and they know all the workers around are forced to go to them, had I had an option to go...
Read moreWorst Tim Hortons Experience at YUL Airport
I had the absolute worst experience at the Tim Hortons located near Starbucks in YUL Airport. There were 7 employees working, yet I waited a shocking 1 hour and 37 minutes to receive my order! When it finally arrived, it was completely wrong.
I asked for a croissant with cheese to be toasted, but instead, they added cream cheese (which I never requested) and didn’t even toast it! I had to eat it cold and soggy. To make things worse, the staff handled the pastry with their bare hands, which is not only unhygienic but completely unacceptable, especially in a place that serves food.
This was an incredibly frustrating experience, and I will never be returning to this Tim Hortons location. I honestly don’t know how they can justify such poor service when there are so many people working and so many simple tasks to complete. Avoid this place...
