Ubar Resto Bar is a nice lounge at the International Wing of the Montreal airport. It's pinkish ambience will definitely catch your gaze as you walk along to your gate. The bar is one of my favourite side attractions in the airport and I like the way it is designed. One other thing I loved about the bar is the music, they had a range of music from afroveats to hip hop to other genres and the DJ was so good, you wouldn't even notice the change in tempo and songs. The service is good, could be better but the best part of this experience is the food. Being African in Montreal comes with its challenges of finding spicy relatable food and Ubar was able to meet all my needs. I had chicken wings and chicken burger with fries and it was really good! I loved every part of the meal. To be honest it was so good. I had cold chocolate and got the complimentary water but it was good. If you are caught up at the Montreal airport and need somewhere to eat and chill, Ubar is definitely the best choice for you!

Horrible service is allll I can say. When I arrived I was asked if I had enough time before my flight because there was a lot of people, and I did. The waitress started serving beer to other customers so I asked if I could get a coffee while I was waiting and her reply was : I told you it was going to take time because of how busy we are. I asked her again nicely if I could just get a coffee while I was waiting but to place my food order I was going to wait. I eventually placed my order, but after a while another serve brought me my bill. So I told him I was still waiting for my plate, the other NICE waiter was surprise since I had been waiting for a while. He came back with my plate saying it had been sitting there in the kitchen so my eggs were cold. He offered to have the kitchen make me another plate, which by then I simply refused so he offered to give me a discount. Welllllll he wait to my waitress and she refused, saying you can’t just start giving discounts to single female travellers. At the end I told the nice waiter it was ok and paid my 22$...
