Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in Dorval

Well I will not be going at this location ever again. This location was my go to for my latte and dragonfruit refresher and believe me I spend a lot of money on theses. Best location by Higway 20. Get off the highway go to the drive-through get my caffeine and be on my way back on the Highway. So convenient and fast!!! We'll it all depends on how much customers have the same idea as mine. But now for the last 2 weeks the drive-through was always close and it just kept going because I will not get out of my car and go into the store when I can easily order at the drive-through. Today I got fed up because I wanted to go fast and order for myself and my employees and again it is closed. Went inside and was given an explanation. The drive-through is permanently closed. I am flabbergasted this is the best optimal location for one and trust me it was busy. Tried to tell me they were opening one in Lasalle and that the drive-through will be open there!!!! Nope.... Oh short staffed.... they were 6 employee on the floor. Granted somemwere on training but sorry just lost a customer in me and with the amount of times I was going there I would say a good one. Sorry but I will spend my last credit on my cards and then will probably go to another coffee shop...

I've received better than average customer service at many Starbucks locations, but I was compelled to write a 5 star review today because of an above and beyond touch. I came in to this location due to its proximity to the airport. I needed to work while I waited for a flight to arrive. As is usual, everyone is friendly and the place is as clean as they can manage. I ordered my English Breakfast tea latte, the young lady who helped was patient and helped me check all the cards on the app that had zero balance because for some reason the balances don't show on all of them. As I was working away, my tea got cold before I could finish it, so another young lady (the one who had made my tea) not only offered to make me a small little cup (just the perfect amount), but also remembered that I wanted cinnamon powder and added that. This little touch absolutely made my day!! It's those small thoughtful gestures that make customer service. It might seem like a silly thing but I'm beyond happy and now have a new fave spot...

Listen. There are bigger problems in the world, but if you're going to wait 15 min for a coffee, brace yourself - this Sunday afternoon, they had on easily the worst, most jarring playlist of any coffeeshop i've ever been in - three quiet mellow taylor swift songs back-to-back followed by screeching indie punk, then 90s country belting and crooning, all played at the same volume... What kind of maniac sandwiches Frightened Rabbit depression rock ballads between old-school jazz swing. The staff had to yell orders over the punk rock songs. Please god can the manager of this starbucks see this comment and enforce some kind of consistent playlist rule. Just pick a genre or artist for the hour or throw on a decent existing spotify playlist, it's so so so...
