DV Pizza & Donair — Restaurant in Drayton Valley

We were craving donairs, so we decided to try something new. We ordered a donair, and a donair poutine. The poutine was fair in size, the donair was tiny in comparison to other places in town, but whatever.

The food reaked of perfume (the white bag they used for carrying the food literally smelled like a very strongly scented dryer sheet?) The smell was sooooo offputting that we couldnt eat it, everything went in the garbage. Are they actually scented bags? That doesn't seem like a keen idea for storing food..

And if the bag isn't scented, perfume is meant to be discovered- not announced. I could still smell the smell in our kitchen the next morning 😳

Hard pass. Will not be returning, unfortunately.

Meat lovers pizza from DV Pizza, and it was absolutely delicious! The crust had the perfect balance of crispiness and chewiness, providing a great foundation for the generous toppings of pepperoni, sausage, bacon, and ham. It was late, closer to 8:30 p.m, should have known better when I didn't see any patrons in the establishment, because food was not moving, I can't speak for any of their other food, but the Donair did not taste that good. I should have got a fresh pizza made, I can't judge all their food on a late night pickup when donairs probably haven't been moving for the last few hours.
