---Edit--- I was contacted by the owner. He showed great concern over my review and ask why I stated what I did. We talked on the phone for several minutes. He even offered me a free appetizer. It seems like he was genuinely want to resolve my issues with the food. ---Edit---

Great service but sub-par food.

I ordered some takeout it was delivered quickly and hot. But I expected something more, the signs for the place advertised some of the best food in Drayton Valley. The 3 layer pasta I ordered tasted frozen / pre-made and was seriously lacking cheese. And the appetizer that I ordered was over cooked the sausages were burnt.

Maybe the cook was having a bad day, but I don't know if I would give them...

Having stayed at the Lakeview Black Gold Inn Drayton and a Roustabouts right on-site, I took time to walk out to this place and look outside the box a bit and check this place out. Wow! There were days when I would come here over the hotel any day! I like the atmosphere and friendly service. There's always someone there to refill or take orders and serve food. I like the cooperative efforts of all staff. Very competitive especially during wing night Wednesdays! I wish I could have tried the Sunday brunch! Food was so good and that sizzling brownie was epic! I'll definitely be back when I'm working in Drayton again! Always nice to have an alternative...

The food was good but service was very slow and the service was a little lacking. There was a buffet which should have eased pressure on the kitchen but those at our table who got the buffet were long finished by the time ordered food arrived. That may have been because it took quite a while for our waitress to take our order... and one very simple order of an item that was in the buffet was the last to come out... that being said the butter chicken was very good, club sandwich decent. Even if there is a legitimate reason for a delay that’s ok but it is nice if the service staff acknowledges that and keeps the waiting table...
