Subway — Restaurant in Drayton Valley

Food is subway. Good enough. But I ordered online and only wanted them to add tomatoes and BBQ sauce to one half. Put it in the instructions. Got the sub and there was tomatoes and BBQ sauce on the whole sub, and then no other toppings on half (no lettuce, cucumbers, onions, etc). No problem. Went up to have it corrected. Server wasn't impressed. Said it says only put tomatoes and BBQ sauce on half and I explained it said only ADD it to one half. He did correct it but was very curt. I explained I wasn't trying to be difficult, and asked what he'd like me to write next time so it was correct. His response "no, I will remember your name" (and not in a "sorry" way). Left a very bad taste in my mouth. Even my 9 year old said "why is he mad at you?". I can understand if it was lost in translation but don't argue with me that I wrote something I didn't and then refuse to let me know how to make it easier next time. My brother and I went in to get a couple of 6" subs. I asked for a cheese bun and the Filipino lady gets it and then my brother asks for the same and the lady had a temper tantrum because she put my 6" sub back and had to get a 12" sub to cut it in half. My brother and I looked at each other and just walked out. If having to cut a 12" sub in half is so inconvenient, then she needs to work somewhere where she doesn't deal with customers. This is the best Subway I have been to, the restaurant was very clean and the staff were taking care of keeping the produce and bread fresh and ready for customers.

My sandwich was put together with so much care and attention, it turned out amazing and is honestly the best subway food I’ve had by a large margin.
