The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill — Restaurant in Drayton Valley

I think I dealt with Manik/Manager but I’m leaving this review as I eat. I come to DV once a month for work and know where I’m coming for lunch from now on. As a career manager, it’s refreshing to get such 5 star service from a quick food joint, let alone in a gas station. He was friendly, polite, offered suggestions, food took less than 5 minutes and was delicious. Pricing was amazing, I never tip on quick prepared food but did today just because of his service. I wish I took a better picture of the food but can’t complain. Best tzatziki I’ve had in a while.

Great job and don’t let the standards drop as you stay open longer!

Stopped in for the first time and food was great! We ordered the chicken gyro plate with extra lamb/beef meat and feta fries. So yummy! Everything was quick, fresh, and tasty. They brought our baklava ice cream out after so it wouldn't melt (🫠) and it was equally good. When the owner checked in to see how everything was and if there could be any improvements, we let him know we were very happy but only had one thing we would add, that we would have preferred there was a diet drink option. He let us know the delivery was coming and in the meantime gave us a bottled diet beverage that was not typically part of the meal in addition to the original non diet option. This is my favourite ”fast-food” place in Drayton Valley! Customer service is a 100/10! I ordered calamari once for take out and now every time I go in the greet me by name and seem genuinely happy about serving me. It is without a doubt the friendliest service I have probably had anywhere.

Their calamari is also the best I’ve had. It is actuall pieces of calamari and not the frozen rings of mystery meat. Their tzatziki and deep fried banana peppers with it makes it even better. Their Greek salad has the freshest produce in it and I seriously can’t think of one thing bad to say.

I will say that this isn’t a sit down restaurant and the dining area can be deceiving. But, give it a try! You won’t be...
