OH , what a surprise to find A&W new on Government st Victoria .It's extremely TOOO BAD THAT THEY CANT UNDERSTAND What a customer is asking for . I ASKED if one order of their apple turnovers provide you with 2 of them ? Huh ?? What? I ASKED A SECOND worker beside him Do you get 2 turnovers in one order ? HUH ? What ? She replied .. Ok NEXT ON TO THE MANAGER .same question ... what ? PIES I said Pies ??? HE told me no you only get one . HOW nice While every other competitor ALL offer Two pies per order !! Then ordered two turnovers and a root beer And paid by debit of course I had time while they prepared my order so I walked over to the washroom doors one said occupied and the other one seemed to be locked which was the family non gender based one . So I went back and asked do I need a key for the washrooms and the reply from the MANAGER WAS NO ITS OUT OF ORDER WE have a leak in the pipes ..yet no signs had been posted on the doors and someone was in one . So I COULDNT EVEN WASH MY HANDS after walking my friend's Dog all over town and removing waste in bags . Nice !!!! Then as I walked past the doors of the washrooms the door just opened and a worker had a cleaning caddie with him and was moving to the Family washroom I Said to him ARE your WASHROOMS OUT OF ORDER HE LOOKED CONFUSED and then i heard the manager yell something in Punjabi from the counter I asked again are the washrooms out of order THE MAN REPLIED NO I said may I use one to wash my hands then the Manager came over at that point and said no I SAID YOU JUST LIED TO ME ABOUT THE BATHROOMS BEING OUT OF ORDER AND CLEARLY THEY ARE NOT!!All I know is THATS DISCRIMINATION AND I WONT STAND FOR IT !!! I DONT DO THAT TO PEOPLE OF THEIR DESSENT AND I DONT EXPECT THAT KIND OF BEHAVIOR FROM THEM !!FOR NO REASON .. FOR SHAME PEOPLE !!! HERE IS A PICTURE OF THE MANAGER PLEASE FEEL FREE TO EXPRESS ANY AND ALL FEELINGS ABOUT BEING A VICTIM OF DISCRIMINATION IN THIS CANADIAN...

This might be a long one, and I want to start by saying the staff did their best, but there were only 2 on shift. I arrived at 9:20 pm and ordered a Cheddar Bacon Uncle burger combo and a Teen Burger combo, payment was taken at 9:24 pm after we paid, we were asked to pull aside which I thought was weird as no one was behind us and then I noticed 4 other cars sitting. We sat there until 9:58 pm when there was a knock on the window, the employee said there were no teen burger patties left and asked if they could put a couple of buddy burger patties in instead, of course not wanting to wait even longer we said yes. 10:08 is when we finally received our food, the restaurant was closed by that point. 34 minutes. My issue is that if the wait was going to be long, at the time of ordering they could mention there may be a long wait, I wouldn't have ordered as we live 150 kms away and it was a cold snowy night so we just wanted to grab something quick. The staff was friendly and I saw him running to each of the cars. Had the bill not been $36 I would have driven away after 15 minutes. I tried calling the store and asked to speak to the store manager just this morning, a week later, and was told he wasn't in, she didn't know when he would be in and doesn't know how I can get...

Went through the drive through twice because I didn't get my mozza burger or fries. Was told they that they knew they put fries in it before so I said I'd just pay for new ones.

Paid, then handed them the messed up burger and the guy touches it with his fingers, says "yep it's not a mozza" and leaves. Comes back with replacement burger and new fries.

I get home and it's the same burger with extra mayo on it. I was the only sober guy in the car, wasted gas to come back from the opposite end of town, had to pay extra for fries I wanted, and now I have a burger that's wrong and either I have to assume is the same one I saw him touch or they messed up twice with the exact same result.

For 52$ worth of food I thought I'd be able to get what I wanted but I probably wont be coming back after this. Updating my review because...
