Our group of 5 was in the lounge on a Saturday, about 5:30. Even though there was a Rider game on TV, it was not busy at all. Our server struggled with knowing English and the menu. We ordered a Shareable (as per their menu) appetizer. No plates brought until after it was served (after we requested them). Our group ordered individual plates and 2 pizzas for supper. Two of our group kept their appetizer plates, but one who had ordered pizza, had no plate. The plate was served much later with 2 non-alcoholic drink refills. Service was poor. We got the bill with the server punching in the total and handing me the point-of-sale machine. I said, wait a minute. Checked the bill. Overcharged for our wine (and I think the beer, but I can’t confirm that), and the pizzas which were on special that night ($5 off of each). I told him I wasn’t paying it. The bill was wrong. He came back 10 minutes later with the supervisor who said he was in training, and the corrected bill. I was really unimpressed with the service. The food was good. I left a 15% tip but I think I should have left no money and these tips: if your have a person who is training, maybe give them a name tag which indicates such, so that I know I may have to explain our order in more detail. provide better training before they have to serve the public. if people order shareable appetizers, bring plates. if people order pizzas, bring plates before the food. when people ask what beer is on tap, you should know your product. Our server turned our back to us while he looked at the beer on tap and listed them. Thank, but no thanks. We can glance or walk over and figure that out ourselves. We couldn’t hear what he said, especially with his accent and his back turned to us. don’t charge us full price for the items we order during ‘Appy Hour’, and for those items that were on special that night. I am not sure if our server was ignorant or dishonest. Either way, that is on your establishment, not on me.
I hope everyone who had been at BPs lately checks their bill.

Read moreSo we went for supper (party of 4) 2 of 4 meals came, then the third, mine did not come. They explained they gave my meal out to another table and it would only be 5 mins, it was not five minutes. It was easily 15, after everyone was done eating, I did end up asking for it to go as that’s just awkward to rush eat well everyone else is done and waiting on just you. Our waitress apologized, I was compensated 50% and free dessert. When they did bring my meal to go, they forgot the sauce (they do this everytime we order triple play to go, so annoying, always check!)
To the general manager, As a former waitress, please keep in mind this isn’t a direct reflection of our waitress, she was doing best she could and did keep a smile on her face through the mess, but more so the server who can’t read a ticket, gave my meal away and can’t even check with line staff etc. it’s the domino effect of the entire event. The temptation to ask which table and go get my food was absolutely...
Read moreNoticed the night before (Feb 10) when we came in for supper this BPs was advertising UFC 284 with some posters around the restaurant. Perfect I love UFC, so I came in tonight asked the waitress to put the fight on and she relayed that to the manger I think. Long story short, they didn't/couldn't put the fight on because she couldn't get a hold of her other manger to buy the pay per view event which technically should have already been playing on the TV since I showed up mid fight. Super disappointed as I was stoked to watch this and it was ADVERTISED with posters around the entrance of the restaurant, completely ruined my night. Left immediately after, could have had some decency to offer the drink I ordered on the house for the...
