I have been to Aachy's many times but today was the worst. Went for Sunday buffet towards the end as it was closing, so the options were very few. Anyway, sat down for buffet and asked for a filter coffee and a mango lassi. Had to ask for it atleast 5 times from two different servers. It took 45 minutes to arrive and the restaurant was less than half occupied. Then when I went to the front desk to pay, my jaw dropped when I heard my total! $62, which included $24.99 each for the buffet (pricey and didn't include drinks!), $3.99 for a filter coffee and $8.99 for a very slim glass of mango Lassi!!! Do NOT recommend their Sunday buffet. Not worth it for the price. Service has gone down. I would not visit as often as I used to. Totalling tip, my total for two people came to about $70! I could pay that much in a good 5-star restaurant. Absolutely ridiculous prices (oh and btw, the buffet price was not advertised at the buffet....they might change it after reading this review. Not sure but never going back again for the buffet)!
I would rather spend my money elsewhere. Many other good options exist. One of them is Masala Wok, where the buffet is usually $17.99 or $18.99 and includes unlimited...

Food: The menu is a delightful mix of classic South Indian dishes, offering everything from crispy dosas to spicy curries. Here are a few highlights:
Chettinad Chicken Curry: This was the star of the meal. Rich, spicy, and full of depth, the chicken was tender and soaked in the intense flavors of the Chettinad spices. It paired beautifully with the fluffy appams.

Read moreCompelled to edit the review. Ordered Iddli set, got uncooked flour. Not one, all the four are raw flour / batter. Even sticking on the spoon. Those who run the restuarent are very irresponsible. They don’t even care. Consider you as animals at the mercy. The uncooked batter is sticking and they took the cuisine back. I suspect expired or spoiled batter used to cook iddli and dosa. Asked me to wait then after 15 minutes, the rude manager admitted that batter has problem. Unclean dishes are kept in the tables unattended for hours. This gives the look of a shabby restuarent. Bearer is not at all trained for customer service. Indifferent attitude, rude arrogant approach. Need pleasing and service minded bearers.Later some one came and apologized. Misunderstanding is different from attitude for customer service. Really need trained and professional bearers. Glasses served for drinking water is not clean, stained and particles floating. Washrooms needs to be cleaned in a timely manner. Ten years before the service was superb food was excellent. Today I felt sad and sorry to say the quality of hospitality had...
