I recently had the pleasure of dining at your West End location, and I felt compelled to share my thoughts on the delightful experience I had.

I ordered the Chicken Vindaloo and Chicken Masala, accompanied by Garlic Naan, and I must say, each dish was a testament to the richness and authenticity of Indian cuisine.

The Chicken Vindaloo was perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of heat that complemented the robust flavors of the spices. The tender chicken absorbed the tangy and aromatic sauce beautifully, making each bite a burst of flavor. It was evident that great care was taken in preparing this dish, as the authentic taste transported me straight to the heart of Goa.

The Chicken Masala was equally impressive, featuring succulent chicken pieces enveloped in a rich, spiced gravy. The blend of spices was impeccable, allowing the natural flavors of the chicken to shine through while providing a comforting warmth.

To accompany these dishes, the Garlic Naan was a perfect choice. Soft and fluffy, with just the right amount of garlic, it was the ideal vehicle for savoring the flavorful sauces of both dishes.

In fact, the food was so delightful that I ended up ordering 25 dishes to go! It’s clear that Spirit of India - Express has mastered the art of Indian cuisine, and I couldn’t resist sharing the experience with friends and family.

An Unforgettable Dining Experience!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant , and I can confidently say it was one of the best culinary experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming ambiance that set the tone for the evening.

The menu offered a perfect blend of creativity and tradition, catering to a variety of tastes and dietary preferences. Every dish we tried was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Chilly chicken and chicken tikka masala were absolutely divine – a harmonious balance of textures and tastes that left us wanting more.

The service was impeccable – attentive yet unobtrusive, with staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to provide recommendations. Their attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm for ensuring a memorable experience did not go unnoticed.

The atmosphere was just as impressive as the food. The soft lighting and tasteful decor created a cozy yet elegant setting, perfect for a romantic dinner or a special celebration.

A friend and I went to this restaurant for the first time today! (Lunch on Wed, June 11, 2025). The food was obviously freshly prepared and to order, and was very authentic Indian cuisine. The dishes were beautifully spiced (And when asked, we said medium heat) and with flavors that I have come to expect when having authentic Indian cuisine. We started with Gol Gappe, which was crispy fried to perfection. We then had steamed rice, Chicken Korma and Aloo Gobhi! All dishes were so very flavorful! When asked about the flavors, the owner/chef explained that his foods are authentic and there is no added colors or spices that are not traditional to Indian cuisine! His food is spiced with only traditional Indian spices which explained why the flavor was so amazing to us! There are so many other dishes that we wanted to try, but those will have to wait for next time! Don't miss out on this restaurant because of the construction... there is parking right in front! From 100 Ave, go north on 156 Street and just before you have to turn right down Stony Plain Rd, there is a big sign that shows "Business Entrance" ... turn left, and that is to their parking lot, right in front. Don't miss out on the great food from this authentic Indian...
