Barcelos Flame Grilled Chicken, Windermere — Restaurant in Edmonton

Order food a few weeks ago. My order did not come with any sauces and hair was found in the food. I immediately called them back and told them I’m willing to bring my order back to them to show that there is no sauce and there is hair in the food. They said not to worry about it, took down my name and number and said my next order will be free. Today I called for my free order. The supervisor working there named TJ was very rude. He argued with me and said there is no proof and the person who worked there named Amandeep quit back in January which is not true since the name is printed right on my receipt. He constantly kept hanging up on me, I kept calling back, he said he would check with someone else and call me but never did. After calling multiple times he finally agreed to give only one free chicken and then hung up the phone again. Didn’t tell me what time to pick up or anything. I called back and they told me to come pick up my chicken in 30 mins since they are very busy… I would like the head manager to call me back about this TJ was very rude to me and no customer deserves to be treated the way I was.. Not sure what their procedure is when giving sauces to customer. You are paying for grilled chicken and sauces are supposed to be added in meal. So when ever I asked them they said you have to pay for it and I did. First two times they charged me in store and did not give to me. So what they do is staple food in worse quality paper bag so that you cannot even think about opening the bag to verify what they gave to you. So today I ordered half chicken I asked about sauces this lady there didn’t tell me it comes with one sauce, she charged me extra for sauce no bill was shared again their procedure. I asked her did you place the sauces in bag and she said yes two of them. Now I come home and there are no sauces, problem is they are charging you and not giving on purpose this is how they are running their business. Three times they have done the same and I’m sure they have been doing the same to others and this needs to be stopped. I will mention their review where ever possible and this will make them change their habit of getting free money...

Don't waste your money here. We came here with our family of 5 spent over $100 for disgusting food, there was a fly flying around in the restaurant at end of November! Who knows how long it's been living in the restaurant! I had to ask for our table to be cleaned, all the tables were dirty with old food spills, and one table had a mountain of food left on a tray. (I should have walked out with my family at this point) The chicken stir fry came out within 3 minutes of us sitting down. It was the first dish to come to our table long before the rest. The chicken was mushy the entire dish wasn't edible. The beef burger pattie was hard. I Ordered a chicken caesar wrap but they forgot the chicken. My 2 year old son drank the orange juice before I noticed how weird it looked, it was expired by 2 months. The staff did give us a different one but still not after my son drank half of it.
