Today (March 14), I was craving for calamari and ceasar salad and I thought about going to Opa and I went to this location because it's so close to my home. I usually comes here lunch time. Me and my boyfriend got here to this exact location at 8:45pm and it's says that they are closing at 9pm. Me and my boyfriend walked inside and these two girls told us that they are closed. My boyfriend told them "you guys closed at 9pm" and they said yes we are closed now. It's 8:45pm we still have 15mins and the door was still open and the sign still says open thats why we went inside. We saw these two girls was already cleaning already and probably didn't want to serve us because they didn't want to clean the cooking station again. Me and my boyfriend was upset but we didn't bother to argue or make it a big deal for them but I just want to say that customers shouldn't be treated like that. If the store closed 9pm you closed 9pm. If customers are inside already inside the store at 8:45 you still need to serve them because they still have 15minutes to order. If you don't want someone to come in 10minutes before you closed the store, then you should probably closed the store 10minutes before you closed. My boyfriend and his family owns Tim hortons and I worked for them too. We know how to treat customers if they come in 5 minutes before we closed. The issue was several employees just were standing around and moving as slow as possible. On top of that, the staff messed up my order as well so then they had to redo it.
