**5-Star Review for The Keg – Exceptional Dining Experience with Waitress Madison!** My recent dinner at The Keg was an absolute delight, thanks to the impeccable service from our waitress, Madison, and a meal that exceeded all expectations. If you’re looking for a steakhouse that combines quality, ambiance, and top-tier hospitality, this is the place! **Service**: Madison was the star of the evening! Attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm, she guided us through the menu with expert recommendations. Her timing was flawless—always checking in without hovering—and her enthusiasm for the dishes made the experience even more enjoyable. **Standout Dishes**: - **24oz T-Bone Steak**: Cooked to a perfect medium-rare, this colossal cut was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. Paired with **mushroom rice** (rich and earthy) and fresh, crisp seasonal vegetables, it was a carnivore’s dream. - **Lobster Tail + 8oz Steak Combo**: The lobster tail was buttery and succulent, lightly grilled to enhance its sweetness. The 8oz steak (also medium-rare) was just as impressive. The **grilled vegetables** alongside were seasoned to perfection. **Atmosphere**: The Keg’s dim lighting, polished wood accents, and cozy booths created a relaxed yet upscale vibe. It’s ideal for everything from date nights to celebratory dinners. **Value**: While priced as a premium steakhouse, the portions are generous and the quality justifies the cost. Madison even surprised us with a complimentary dessert after hearing it was a special occasion—a gesture that sealed the 5-star rating! **Final Thoughts**: The Keg delivers on every front, but it’s staff like Madison who elevate it from great to extraordinary. Whether you’re craving a flawless steak, fresh seafood, or a memorable night out, don’t miss this spot. **10/10—will be back soon!** *Pro tip: Ask for Madison’s section—you won’t regret it!*

Dinner was a disaster... but the staff at The Keg were beyond amazing! I will always come back to this location. I will preface this story with the fact that I have an anaphylaxis allergy to onions. My Mum's and my daughter's meals were perfect (filet well-done, and chicken fingers respectively) Both my steak and my husband's steak were overcooked (we both ordered medium-rare and got medium-well). I had filet, so it was still tasty (I was so hungry that I could cry) and kept mine; my husband sent his rib-eye back. His came out again quickly... and blue rare. I ordered vegetables with my meal. It was a medley of red & yellow peppers, zucchini, tomatoes, asparagus and mushrooms. I thought I could taste a hint of onion on the zucchini. I pushed it aside, because my throat was fine. My nose was very itchy and my husband and Mum noticed that I had broken out into an intense red rash on my neck and chest. I didn't want to say anything, but my husband insisted. We weren't mad, because there was no error with the chefs - they did their due-diligence in preparing my meal. It's likely that a knife or cutting board was not properly cleaned in between cutting of different vegetables during prep. My reaction was minor, because of minor cross-contamination. The Kitchen Manager, Simone, came out and spoke at length with us. She was so sweet and kind. Our waiter, Daniel was a gem. I can't say enough about these two. They made an otherwise unpleasant experience into a very positive one. I've never encountered this kind of care and concern with any other restaurant. Top marks in life and customer service for Daniel and Simone. They gave us an unprecedented discount! It was completely unexpected and unnecessary, but very appreciated. We in turn gave them a ridiculous tip. Like I said, we will always return to this location. The staff are beyond top tier!

Honest opinion: not worth the price. We were dissatisfied 2 years ago but we had a gift card and decided to give it a try again. Ordered 2 burgers and drinks. We were waiting for burgers for 30(!) mins and for the drinks 10 mins, and you would think that with that wait time the food and drinks should be incredible but both were average. Onions on burgers were more soggy, than caramelized. Fries not bad but nothing special. In my opinion, there wasn’t enough flavours in either the patty or fries. Buns were good and so was the bread. As for the drinks, we ordered 4 drinks and literally left sober. I am not a casual drinker and it doesn’t take a lot of alcohol for me to get tipsy, so this says a lot about how watered down the drinks were. Aperole spritz wouldn’t order again, Caesar was good but watered down. As for the whiskey sours… I really wouldn’t call them that. It tasted weird and we even asked for 2oz and still both my husband and I didn’t feel anything. This is not to say that we’re trying to get drunk, but when you’re paying $15 for a drink, it is expected to not get a watered down one. Waitress was nice but the service was slow. The minimum 18% tip (which was over $20) is not justified, imho. I changed it to 10% which still felt a lot for what it was but I do hope that at least 100% of that goes to the staff.

March 10 2025 - 6:45 pm Whoever is the cook needs to head back to school. I intentionally ordered nothing because this specific location sucks there has been nothing but issues when we go there . So why my sister wanted to go is beyond me .. but I went with her and took my son . First off all I can do is speak on the behalf of my family - and the few things I tasted . Number one - the food was not hot . My sister had to return her steak , it was cooked perfectly but was not a hot steak for 40 bucks , her “ baked potato” probably had to be cooked for a minimum of 10 more minutes, my moms stuffed potato or whatever it’s called was also cold and returned . My sister decided to wait for a new order to come out , so we were inside the restaurant for an hour and a half at that point when 2 meals and a kids meal was ordered … The restaurant was also very quiet so unsure as to why the wait was so long , but she waited probably another 15 minutes I would guess for her 2nd order to be an overdone steak , and once again a unbaked “baked potato” .

It’s my suggestion to upper management to look into who was cooking that evening and maybe have a word with them / maybe they need some more training .

The kids meals are a complete rip off as well for 15.00 dollars there wasn't even a half a bowl of noodles … seems very odd but I guess I haven’t ordered from here for my son so it was a first and last for the amount given for 15.00 dollars , it’s outrageous.

Positives - My mom’s ribs were hot , my son’s noodles were hot , and the mushrooms were also hot , the waitress and manager were very friendly, although I asked if that was a normal portion for the noodles and she told me yes they did bring out more at no charge, the manager took care of the bill entirely ( like they should have ) .

This specific location absolutely sucks though . This is definitely the 3rd time returning food , I personally don’t even order anything when any of my family wants to attend the keg .

It will be the last time dining at that location for myself ever again, as for myself the keg in general .

We have never once went there with a table for 4- 6 and didn’t have to return something . This isn’t someone being picky either . Either this is absolute terrible luck or there is a terrible cook when we decide to come . It is just wrong to charge someone the amount of money when you’re serving food that’s not prepared hot, and correctly.

A baked potato I would assume would be the least hardest thing to screw up on a menu , I’m not sure if they are re warming up potatoes from the day prior , or how a potato can’t be soft inside for the second time around . If that chef worked for me it would a goodbye !

To management/ owner ; (If they care ) it’s my suggestion to watch how the meals are being prepared, and potentially taste a potato here or there . It’s not the first but it’s definitely the last time , over a 2 hour go at the restaurant, I had to leave the restaurant my son was ready for bed ! So an uber had to be paid for as well . So over all the experience was a 0/10, if you can’t cook a potato you are NOT meant to work at a restaurant where you pay good money for a...

I went to the keg for my birthday dinner, we usually count our macros and maintain a healthy diet so this was my cheat meal I was so looking forward to. I brought my own bottle of organic wine that i like knowing that there is usually a corkage fee. There was about 5 staff at the front door, we waited a couple minutes to be seated (no issue at all with that) we were attended to by another server who advised us that our waiter was busy and would be with us right away as she gave us some water. Finally our waiter came and took our order (still no issue with the wait or service). Shortly at that the manager walked by and stopped and said "hi, can I see the label on that bottle". I proceeded to turn the bottle so he can see the label and tell him that we brought our own wine. He then very rudely tells me that they charge a $30 dollar corkage fee (on my $16 bottle) and that we can finish our glasses but they will cork it and we will have to order their wine. My jaw dropped and I explained to him that i paid half of that for the bottle and that none of the approx 7 or 8 staff that encountered us told us about this and that he needs to train his front end staff properly. He insincerely apologized but was adamant that our bottle be corked and we order their wine and walked away. Our waiter saw us talking to the manager and came over to ask if everything was OK, thinking we were complaining about the wait. We told him what happened and he apologized. The interaction with the manager instantly ruined my night. the manager did not try to build any rapport, show any sympathy or compromise. I continued to finish my bottle of wine as I was extremely frustrated with the interaction and thought - it's my birthday, they didn't treat us properly so eff it, im doing what I would like. The food was brought out to us ( which sadly to say was AWFUL! WORST food i have ever had at the keg ever and ive had better food at cheaper restuarants.) At the end, they still tried to charge us the corkage fee that was double the cost of my bottle. Our waiter saw another manager and asked him to help us out. We explained the situation, and told him that if we had been treated kindly and decently that we would have gladly corked our wine and purchased a bottle from them but because the manager was so rude and that all of the staff we interacted with neglected to tell us about the corkage fee I refused to pay it. That manager was sympathetic and negotiable and told us this time he would remove it from our bill and that in the future that was their policy. I was happy that that issue was resolved. Unfortunately I still have such a bad taste left in my mouth for an absolutely waste of a cheat meal. My husband and i make better food with better quality ingredients at home. Not at all what I expect from the keg. I'm extremely disappointed and still upset about the whole thing. Definitely will not be...

The keg is usually consistent. It’s never amazing but satisfactory and the service is usually great. However our dine in experience this evening was Very disappointing. we had a reservation but the hostess told us they only had tables in the lounge. Which was strange, The restaurant was the slowest I have ever seen a keg on a Saturday night. Our server really tried to push the alcohol and seasonal lobster up sell, Which wasn’t for us I prefer crab over lobster. Also neither of us drink. which is why we requested the dining room over the lounge. our appetizer showed up before our bread (typical for the keg) I miss the sourdough and whipped plain butter not a fan of the focaccia and herbed butter. Our server took our order and that was the last we saw of her for an extended period. We both the keg classic prime rib and the starter salads arrived on the warm side, they usually serve it chilled, the dressing was weak which is strange it’s usually really tasty. The prime rib took a while which was fine but when it showed up but we never received steak knives, no big deal wr flagged down a server from another section and ad requested cutlery, they returned with ONE knife, not sure if we where suppose to share. We then flagged down another server to request a second knife. Which took a lot longer than anticipated but finally It did arrive. Our Prime Rib did come out medium rare which is what we asked for but at this point was cold (room temp). Very disappointing but what was worse was that the steaks where BLAND!!! no steak spice seasoned crust on the outside, I can say I have never had to add salt to a keg steak before tonight. Also I have never sent food back but I would have tonight if I could get my servers attention. At this point We where starving and just ate the cold bland steak. half way through our server finally showed up to refill our water. We wouldn’t see her again until she came around to see if we wanted desert, we declined and I asked for the bill. I don’t know if she didn’t hear me but we waited for a solid 15-20 minutes, the gold medal WJC game was on so at least that helped pass the time, finally we received our bill. And had to make polite small talk while the payment machine had to be rebooted. Overall just really disappointing experience...
