This place is a must try. As the name suggests, filipino-mexican inspired food and drinks!

I needed a little pick-me up the other day and decided to try this place after passing by it a previous evening.

When I saw the menu, I couldn't pick just a few things; I had to try as much as me and my husband could manage.

First off, I got the ube milkshake for my hubby and the mango aqua fresca for myself. Both were delicious!

For savory, we tried the bistek silog rice bowl, shrimp tacos, and signature barbacoa burrito. Brace yourself for flavour with all three of these dishes! Just look at the sauce on those fish tacos! They also did not skimp out on the protein, a huge plus in our books. Check out the size of the wrapped burrito! I am, personally, a big fan of pickled vegetables, which were included in some way, shape, or form in each dish. If that's not your thing though, you can always ask for them to exclude it.

To end the meal, we got the ube churros with the ube dip. They were crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The sauce wasn't overly sweet either, which we appreciated.

I highly recommend you go...

Decided to stop by around 11:30 for some lunch and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered two drinks, a silog bowl with chicken, a paburrito bowl with barbacoa, and the churros with chocolate sauce! The service was excellent, they even offered me extra sauce in the middle of my meal which was exactly what I wanted. Both the silog bowl and the Paburrito bowl were nice portions. The Paburrito bowl was especially loaded up and a nice combo of flavors. It was so large I had to take half home. The drinks were nice and fresh as well. We got the mango and tropical aqua frescas. Would definitely recommend this spot for those passing by! Its nice that its easily accessible from either central or...

Hard to compare their burritos to Mexican burritos because the flavours are completely different. The meats and rice definitely have Filipino flavours…the Mexican influence would be the guacamole, salsa and the flour burrito tortillas. Overall, they taste amazing for what they are! The groceries were fresh, the meat was soft and tasty, guacamole was thick and the salsa was refreshing. The staff were super friendly, the joint was clean and welcoming and the food was delicious! Pricing is on point and worth it…very filling! Definitely recommend giving them a try and I look forward to coming back to try other items...
