It always gives us pleasure to visit Taste of Pakistan (formerly Raja Foods). We love their halwa puri, nihari, parathas, and other items. The owner is also a nice person. Their service is usually reasonable; however, our last visit on Saturday, July 19th, turned into a service nightmare.
No doubt, this restaurant is becoming popular within the desi community. However, they seem unable to handle pressure during busy hours. The restaurant was full, and many families were waiting to be seated. The owner appeared frustrated and started misbehaving with customers who were waiting for their turn. After we finished eating, no one came to clear our table. I had to ask multiple times for my takeout items and the final bill, and only received them after several attempts.
Feedback:
Hire additional part-time staff during rush hours.
Place a notice on the door: "Please wait to be seated" — to avoid mismanagement, as many people were not following the staff's instructions, which even led to a few verbal altercations.
Treat customers professionally.

Read moream truly amazed by the delicious flavors at Taste of Pakistan. The ambiance, cleanliness, overall atmosphere, and the promptness with which our order was taken and served were all top-notch.
We ordered two Halwa Puri sets, Karak Chai, and Beef Nihari. The Halwa Puri sets and Chai were exceptionally good—authentic and flavorful. The Beef Nihari was decent, though not the highlight of our meal.
We enjoyed the experience so much that we returned on Saturday morning for breakfast and ordered the Halwa Puri sets again. The place was jam-packed with families, and although it took about 20 minutes to get our food, they informed us in advance due to the crowd, which we appreciated. Impressively, the owner personally went to each table to check on the quality of food and customer satisfaction.
A special mention goes to Preet, whose attitude, behavior, hospitality, and kind gestures left a lasting impression on us. From warmly welcoming us back on our second visit to repeatedly checking in to ensure everything was perfect, she truly won our hearts. Her genuine care elevated our dining experience and left a great impact—not just on our stomachs, but on our...
Read moreWent to Taste of Pakistan with my family last minute—literally pulled up about 15 minutes before closing and still, they welcomed us like we were the first customers of the day. That level of hospitality is rare. The service? Incredible. I didn’t even have to get up once to ask for anything. They were super attentive without being overbearing. The place was spotless… like beyond clean. Bonus points: they even have a designated prayer area, which is such a thoughtful touch.
Now let’s talk food… OMG. I have no words. We were the last customers of the night and still, the food came out fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. My mom usually avoids restaurant food because of acidity, especially with how heavy or spicy Pakistani cuisine can be but not only did she eat, she enjoyed it and even took leftovers. That alone says everything. The servers were so down-to-earth and genuinely sweet—they even offered us saunf at the end which was just… the cutest little touch to wrap up a perfect meal. Definitely a 10/10. Can’t...
