I tried Saigon Hut's deluxe vermicelli bowl (with chicken and beef - it comes with a spring roll and sausage already). We also got the Alaskan roll to share. The bowl's vermicelli, accompanying fish sauce, and veggie mix is considered standard to other Vietnamese restaurants. The chicken was tender and not overly charred but the beef was dry. The mean overall tasted over-salted for my liking. The Alaskan roll can be a nice snack but it was scant on the salmon that I was searching for that flavor. The portion size of the vermicelli bowl is pretty good for the price but I would not order the Alaskan roll again ($22 is pretty steep for what you get).

Good food for my first time here. I was abit disappointed that the server did not come see me after giving me my order. The place was sadly empty I was the only one there at 5pm but not due to food quaility but sadly due to covid 19 not much people going out, remember to support our locals during this tough times of covid 19. however I know it is not because of the food. Food was great, salad rolls great, but service could of been better since I was the only in the restaurant. Will for sure go back.

I came to Saigon Hut for dinner a while ago. The overall atmosphere and service were decent. In terms of food, I tried their #1: Beef Noodle Pho. There was a lot of food - noodles, beef, etc. However, the food in general (i.e. soup base) was quite bland…so I’d give them 7/10

Food was okay, perhaps a little dry. But ... the person who took our order was wearing food handling gloves while operating the register and handling our cash payment. That should be a red flag right there. And then, this individual went into the kitchen, wearing the same gloves, and proceeded to handle raw food items. NOT GOOD.

While we waited, we witnessed the same unsafe behaviour with the next customer and their order. Obviously the staff there are in dire need of remedial training for the proper use of food prep gloves - and why cash, cash registers, and raw food do not mix. All the more strange when their service counter with the till, had two bottles of hand cleaner - disinfectant prominent and available. Perhaps changing gloves all the time is such a hassle!

Decided to not make a scene about this glaring offense. Doubtful...

Passed by this place on my way back to work. Went inside and while the restaurant was packed, there was no line-up which worked with what I needed at the moment.

Didn't think anything of it, ordered my default spring rolls with vermicelli. How can you go wrong with that.

I was wrong.

The size of the order was adjacent to the price but the quality of the food was questionable. The spring rolls left a very strange after taste and all I had was spring rolls on vermicelli. The Vermicelli and vegetables were on par. What stood out the most was the fish sauce. My fish sauce was 2% sweet and 98% vinegar. This fish sauce was the only source of sauce for my vermicelli bowl and my spring rolls were my protein. Suffice to say, i didn't finish my meal at work and was hungry...

THE PLACE: Always well maintained and clean. Lots of parking spaces. THE FOOD: Incredible, one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants. Must try their spring rolls! THE SERVICE: I've been ordering at this restaurant for over 4 years and they are always so nice and friendly. WOULD I RETURN? Yes, I have been for years.

Edit August 2025: Still a great place but do not use their online pickup service. The food is $3 more online than ordering in the restaurant and then it also charges a fee for using the website as well. It had been years since I've eaten there and just thought the prices had increased but when I picked up my food I realized I had paid about $10 more through the online...
