We have been coming here for years and some things have changed. We get the Donair Poutine and the last few times the Gravy is intolerably spicy. The new owner seems to think everyone likes spicy food and this is not the case.

Please stop making food so spicy that regular folks can eat it.

Review Edit Apr 2021: I have updated my stars and review. The quality has greatly improved and the partner with the attitude only shows up once a week. Huge portions and great food are what's in store at Simply Donairs. This is once again my "go to" place for donairs and poutine.

This place changed hands about 6 months ago and the quality has dramatically declined. This place was 6 stars out of 5 a year ago. One of the new owners is the worst cook ever and the other owner is great. I'm giving it 2 stars because the portions are still extremely generous. Sorry Simply Donairs, telling me to never come back is not the way to bring people in...

Neighbours showed me this spot a few years ago. Went just yesterday and got myself and my brother a large cheese donair. My brother is SUPER picky about his donairs, so I wanted to see his reaction. Well, we both love the place. If you're starving, the portion of the large donair is just silly and will fill you up. The meat is nicely (not overly) spiced and very soft and juicy. The vegetables were clearly all cut fresh that day and the lettuce was fresh enough to use in a salad. After seeing the generous amount of sauce my brother got, I ordered "half sauce" and it was perfect. I can't believe I ate the whole thing - it was Simply Delicious. UPDATE: Went here the next day and got a donair salad and donair poutine for my mom as a treat on her 80th birthday. The folks don't like food that is too spicy but they really enjoyed both dishes. Neither had tried poutine or donair meat...

I ordered food for lunch today online. Came to pick it up a few min early, and they were just finishing it up. I ordered mine, not spicy, and mine was spicy. Not enough sauce at all. Husband had too many onions, and onions weren't pieled properly. Not enough sauce. We ordered a burger and fries for another worker. Only burger was packed, no fries. When I got to work and unpacked the items, I noticed. I called the store, and she was way too busy to talk to me. She was asking me what email, and I said I would call back. I didn't get a chance to call her back today. 😕 very disappointed at the food today. We bought lunch here 5 months ago and it was delicious today. It wasn't great.

Sorry, what do you mean call next time? I ordered online earlier as I know lunches are buzy. Will I be getting my refund for not...
