Sir Donair & Pizza — Restaurant in Edmonton

Normally I post photos but was hungry and the donair looked delicious! The donair was a jumbo and the size was good and left me stuffed, so much I couldn't even finish half my fries that came with combo. The meat was tasty and had a nice seasoning compared to a cheaper donair where the meat is is normally mild. The meat was juicy and not dried out and not thinly shaved. The sweet sauce was good and they didn't smother the donair in it which is a pet peeves at other places. My only gripe would be I prefer a little more tomatoes and onions but this was my first donair from here and this was a benchmark purchase. My next I know to ask for some extra.

The French fries were sooo good! Freshly cut fries and they were done to a nice crispness and when cold they lost that crispness but held the flavor and tasted great even cold.

I've seen this place tucked away there for a long time and i finally tried their donair today. The sweet sauce is on point and plentiful; veggies were fresh and their meat was moist and just what you'd hope for. BONUS: they don't make a greasy/ crispy mess by mincing up the meat on a flat top before wrapping it (like most places). No, not these guys...They tuck long strips of that juicy, seasoned magic in that pita bed. (My pita was a teeny bit dry for my preference... but probably a one-off, and they did everything else right so hardly noticed). EDIT: I've been there twice since and the pita was perfect both times! Top 3 in the city for me. The guys working there were super friendly too; I will be back.

I took my friends little kid here to have lunch and we enjoyed it. When we first got to the counter, the owner smiled and greeted the little boy and thats a very nice service. I ordered two donairs and he did a very quick service. We had the food and it was pretty good. I do comeback here a few times. I also had their Donair pizza, I ordered a large and the only problem is that its not that big only 12 inch size for a large. Im very satistfied with the taste though and I shared it with two of my friends and they loved it as well. I do recommend this place. Its also pretty clean...
