Words feel short of the love that the chef showered on us. The chef is absolutely amazing and like a family host. He'll treat you like you're not a customer but a family member and the taste really embraces the love he sprinkles while cooking. Authentic Chinese that we tasted here took us directly to India and infact i have never tasted such good food. Let me tell you our experience that we'll remember for life. We had order manchow soup and they gave us soup we tried and me and my friends guessed it was a ready made packet from an Indian famous brand that made tasty soups like it...it was until we tasted the gravy of Manchurian and the momos with extremely well sauteed vegetables, we realized that we had discovered a hidden gem. A real hidden Kohinoor. It was the magic in the hands of the chef. The portion sizes are a bit towards more so do ask them for suggestions. We had momos, noodles, soup and many other Indo-Chinese things and i would eat them everyday. There are various spice level and you can try as spicy as you want.. its real spice like Scoville 100,000 and more... But would not regret it. After our order since we were the last, the chef himself came in and sat with us, asked our reviews and he's too friendly that we had long talks about his work and how inspiring he is. The chef suggested us various things to try next time and mango based recipes are to try so if you are there do really give a try since i felt that were very innovative. This restaurant is the real OG ideal restaurant where the chef cooks because he loves to cook and not because its a money making thing. If in Edmonton this is the place to visit. Trust me. If i had the authority, this place would be in my Michelin guide restaurants. This is not a paid review, its just the awesome taste and hospitality that a tourist from Montreal remembers after a month of visiting this place that he randomly discovered.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I must say, the experience was excellent from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious—especially the mix chicken biryani and the goat meat, which were both cooked to perfection. The biryani was rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced, with fragrant rice and tender pieces of chicken. The goat meat was incredibly tender and well-seasoned, practically melting in my mouth. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the service was fast, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you're a fan of Indian cuisine—or just great food in general—I highly recommend this place. I'll definitely be coming back

Hidden gem in the city! This Indian restaurant blows every other place out of the water. We ordered mixed vegetables, paneer pakora, chaat papri, chicken momo, goat curry, palak paneer, aloo gobi with rice and naan- everything was so delicious and differently flavoured!!! The mango lassee is exceptional- the perfect balance of tart and sweet 🤤🤤🤤 the owner is a lovely man and it’s a humble place with flavour as the priority. No need to go anywhere else for real.

Visited this restaurant on the 1st of August in the evening. Honestly i’ll start with the positives, the food was good - their paneer dishes are good.

Coming to the negatives The communication of the server was so so horrible She had no recommendations or advise for us what so ever we asked her numerous times about the quantity of food we were ordering and she just kept nodding yes we were a group of 5 people - we each ordered a naan bread - she did not once let us know one naan bread dish consists of three pieces we ended but having 15 pieces of naan bread on the table We specifically asked her will the goat curry come with rice and she said no so we ended ordering extra rice as well and we ended up having 2 large quantities of rice Their curry portions are so so small it’s a disgrace to the price I have been to several Indian restaurants in Edmonton - all the servers have the manners and local know-how to explain the dishes and their quantities to their new guests especially ones coming in groups. It was so so disappointing especially when we specifically ordered only two plates of momos one chicken and one veg and we ended up getting 2 plates of veg momos and one chicken I let server girl know about this and with a very smirky experession she straight up denied the order on our face and said you guys had mentioned 3 plates of momos. It’s honestly a shame the tactics used for i don’t know what cause by the end of our dinner we were left with so much food and it was so so disheartening for us to see that it might get wasted but luckily we were able to get takeouts of everything The food was still good their curry dishes taste great but it’s the server communication where...

Thank you for your response. Let's be clear — I have not been paid the full amount I’m owed for the hours I worked. A partial payment was made, but it does not reflect the actual time and effort I put in. I’ve kept records of my hours and have proof to support my claim. It’s disappointing to see a business deny the truth in public rather than take accountability. If you are truly willing to resolve this, I invite you to go over the details professionally and respectfully — but let’s not pretend this issue doesn’t exist. In response to the owner's reply — I still haven’t been paid the full amount. I was only given $1,750, but I’m owed over $4,000. I have proof of hours worked. Please don’t mislead the public. I am still open to a professional resolution.

I appreciate your response. Let me clarify again: my review is based solely on my personal experience, which I have every legal right to share under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. I attempted to address this matter through open and respectful communication, I was informed that your lawyer had been contacted and warned to “be ready for the future” — a statement that comes across as intimidation rather than a professional response. Accusing me of “coordinated reviews” is inaccurate and misleading. The additional comments you’ve seen are simply from friends who support me and believe that unfair treatment should not go unnoticed. This is my individual experience, and I stand by what I’ve shared. Threatening legal action in response to public feedback only reinforces the lack of accountability. I am open to resolving this matter professionally, but I will not be intimidated into silence for...
