Worst take out experience ever. You should really remove your sign offering people to call in orders as you clearly can’t keep up with it. Our order was wrong the first time we picked it up. We said we had allergies listed out what couldn’t be in the order. The didn’t note it anywhere obviously as it all came in the order. Called in and was told regardless of it being their mistake a remake would take 40 min. I said that was ridiculous as it’s not a new order- I wasn’t given any other choice but was told they would start it right away. Got there 12 min later- they hadn’t started it. After 40 minutes they started working on it. After serving EVERY other customer first. This is really poor service. They then made it wrong again! With the item we said we had an allergy too! They re made it again. By the time I finally got the order it was 2 hours after our initial order. I waited in the store majority of this time. I requested a refund as it was taking too Longe but kept being told it’s almost ready. After two hours, I left with half our order finally made right and nothing more done, not even a proper apology for the over two hours and repeated remake errors/issues.

Notes: They had one person working the till who didn’t know how to work the till at all, they had another person who kept running all over the place trying to do part of his job part of till persona and a lot of hovering unsure where or what to do.

On a well known busy night, as a restaurant they should have been more prepared. We have gone to other locations and have never had such a bad experience. By the time we got the food home it wasn’t worth the time or money spent. We ordered close to 5 and didn’t get home with the food till after 730.

When I venture into a unauthentic Japanese establishment I usually have certain hopes. The first is that the food will fill me up for whatever I ordered. The second is that I will not feel sick after eating the food. The bonus would be if the food was tasty.

In this case, I ordered a poké bowl (salmon and tuna). The bowl filled me up and was generally tasty. However, the rice was terribly made, ultra mushy, to the texture of slop. I still managed to consume the entire bowl despite fighting my distaste of overly cooked sushi rice (they added too much water while cooking). I haven’t gotten sick from the meal, which is a plus.

My son ordered a dynamite roll, which was made from the same sloppy, mushy rice. When a roll advertises there is masago, one shouldn’t be able to discern how few there are in each roll. My son counted thirteen on one of his rolls.

The staff were friendly and the food was fast, though their rice and sushi making skills require much work.

Would I recommend ordering from here? Well, if you need something to fill your stomach and if you have relatively low expectations of how your food should taste like, then yeah. Otherwise, I would probably advise one to venture elsewhere for the same price and better satisfaction of one’s taste buds.

Lynn at Sushi Shop is absolutely amazing! She recently delivered 150 pieces of sushi for my children's birthday party on a Sunday, and I couldn't be more impressed. (Baby shark themed, so had to have some fun snacks for the adults.) Not only did she deliver for free, but she was right on time, only 15 minutes after they were supposed to open. Talk about dedication!

The sushi itself was incredibly fresh and delicious. Lynn clearly takes pride in her work, as every piece was beautifully prepared. The customer service was exceptional—friendly, professional, and accommodating.
