The owner or whoever was working there (the older man) was super rude and awful, I first ordered a regular deluxe Nachos, I paid and waited for like 10-15 minutes for it to be done, picked up the food and went to Starbucks across the street from the mall, upon opening the food I realized he gave me a Large regular nacho which consists of a bit of tomato and cheese sauce on nacho chips. I immediately went back and told him this wasn’t what I paid for considering I wanted the regular size of deluxe which is the same price as the large regular, he then continued to tell me he knows what came out of my mouth better then me and knows what I ordered better then me. I asked the person who was with me if he knew what I asked for and he agreed I ordered the regular deluxe. He was beyond rude and misleading. I finally agreed to pay the extra $1 or 30 cents for him to just fix his mistake and put the beef on my nachos and he said no I’d have to pay the full amount. I ended up leaving the $8 nachos I paid for but didn’t ask for at the counter after continuously asking him to fix his mistake. He was loud and rude towards me raising his voice when I asked politely repeatedly for him to fix his mistake or just to add the extra toppings and I’ll pay the extra few dollars. Wasted money and horrible customer service and will never go back. I’ve been to countless taco times and they’ve always had the best customer service. I know see why this place has so many bad reviews. Will be letting other people know not to come to this location as well. My beef burrito consisted of 90% lettuce, 4% tomatoes, 3% cheese and 3% beef. No joke. When I asked for more beef and more cheese I was told "We follow a very specific recipe here." So I then asked for less lettuce instead. I was again told "We follow a very specific recipe here, sorry.". I then replied with, " I understand that, but I'm asking for less lettuce please, and this is not my first time at a Taco Time, and this far less meat and cheese than I've ever had." They replied, "Sorry, that's how we do it here." Wow. I then watched the girls count every tater that went into my Mexi-fries... and even removed a few, (probably because it was too many, I assume?) I know they were counting them, because I watched them scoop up 3-4 at a time, and I watched their fingers count each one! Seriously? This has to be a gag. When I asked for hot sauce, they gave me 1. I asked for another one, (Because I wanted 1 for my burrito and 1 for my Mexi-fries), and was greeted with a protest from the employees! Over a scoop of Hot Sauce? Really guys? I argued yet again, and finally got a 2nd hot sauce from the girl, only to have it taken back immediately by the old guy (manager I believe) I couldn't believe it. Now I've heard of pinching pennies, but Wow! This was a whole other level. I was so upset, I then asked for my money back. They refused, and said "We have other customers to attend to now. I went to the Taco Bell at Millwoods Town Centre and got the chicken burrito for large and the Mexi Fries Deluxe. What I got for $5.99 was a joke—barely anything in the container. It looked nothing like what's in the commercials. I will be adding a photo so you can see how terrible it was. I drove home, opened it, and was let down right away. I actually drove all the way back there just to show employees. There were two female workers working—one looked at it, smiled, and asked what it was because even she didn't know what it was. Then she glanced at the other worker, and they just stood there smiling like it was a joke. No explanation, no apology, nothing. I asked for a refund and got it, but the attitude was terrible. Not one iota of customer service. No "sorry" or even a half-hearted attempt to try and fix it. Blank stares and smirks were the norm. Honestly, repulsive behavior. It is rated 2.8 and it should be lower rated. What is wrong with the food industry and good customer service? I invested time, gas, money, and returned home with a cold burrito.
