If this was my first visit to Boston Pizza, I don’t think I would be too inclined to return!
We sat ourselves then waited 5 minutes for the server to show up at our table. The table we sat at was still dirty so I asked for a cloth to wipe down the table.
We waited another 10minutes for the server to come and get our drink order. We then ordered a Triple Play, and an order of wings and a side of fries. We waited over 30 minutes for the appies to come out. A different server dropped them at our table and they were ice cold. Our drinks were done, so we sat and waited 5 minutes for the server to come to our table…she didn’t so I got up and said to the bartender that our food was cold. She apologized and said I will get you a new order. We waited another 60 minutes for the food to come out. No second drink, no server, no manager. During this 60 minutes I called the server to our table and asked for another round of drinks. They sat on the bar for another 5 minutes then I got up and grabbed them off of the bar and returned our empty glasses to the bar. We waited for the server to come to the table to ask if we needed anything, nope! I had to call her over to our table again to ask for the bill and a to go box because by this time we had been sitting there for almost 2 hours! She came with the bill and I asked if some of the servers had not shown up today and she said to me “ oh no, we have just never been this busy on a Wednesday before!”
I suppose as a business owner, I would have expected the manager on duty to either be more helpful or perhaps call some additional staff to come into work? During this time we watched a couple sit at their table for over 30 minutes and the server did not once return to the table to even take a drink order. The couple got up and left! Sad to be honest as we live in the area and we prefer to not have to go far from our home when we go out. Absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced! This is the first time in my life I did not leave a tip for the server. She was talking to the bartender showing her the chit as I had left 1 cent as the tip! When I was a teenager growing up that was the customers way of saying try harder next time to earn your tip! I find servers are so entitled nowadays because the establishments pay them minimum wage and they are depending on the customers to supplement their wage. I will tip when I have a drink in front of me during my visit and my food is served hot and I get asked how everything is and if we need anything else...

We then continued to look at alternatives as we patiently waited nearly 20 minutes for drinks...
After receiving our drinks which tasted like diluted nasty swamp juice. We submitted our dinner orders and patiently awaited the surprising gifts we were about to be bestowed.
To our surprise, the onion rings showed up first. This would be the highlight of our 3-hour adventure...
Surprisingly tasty...and fresh (the onion rings)…we wait for the rest of our order.
The order arrives however 3 dishes were incorrectly ordered/ cooked. So we kindly request that the issues get rectified...and await our 2nd surprise.
As we bite through our chicken sandwiches....the deliciously raw tasting feeling and rock-hard jaw-crushing meat that our jaws experienced were beyond explanation. Not to mention the nasty salmonella raw juicy goodness, running into our mouths left us disheartened and scared for our lives.
We then ask for the manager, he arrives...asking what the issue was. We go through what was wrong.... then he attempts to correct the issue for a second time. We patiently wait around 45 more minutes...the newly cooked food arrives...again to our shock...also incorrect. He mistakenly ordered our replacement food...
We then advise our server of the repeated mistakes...of which again we wait another 20 minutes and after waiting for what seemed to be an insane amount of time, we then advise back we no longer want the replacement food and to please provide us the bill.
At this point, we just wanted to leave, hit the save on, buy some groceries and cook a home-cooked meal vs. stay here another minute.
The bill arrives, 200 dollar bill for 30 dollars’ worth of food that we consumed...shame on you. Absolute one of the most awful places we have been. Stay away, go ANYWHERE else...you will be...
Read moreI'll start out by saying that I am a big fan of Boston Pizza and I love the food, I order from another location near my place of business at least once a week for the staff and everybody is always very pleased with it. Since I've moved into this neighborhood about 2.5 years ago this Windermere location Boston Pizza has been consistently terrible, it's inconsistent, the food typically arrives cold, the order is almost always missing something or instructions haven't been followed, I once even called and asked if they were using a ghost kitchen to fulfill their orders because the food doesn't look or taste like Boston Pizza.I don't know what they have going on over there but it's not good. I do call and let them know about quality issues or missing items issues, they make excuses for this that and the other thing then offer a credit for the food being wrong or whatever it may be. This evening I used a $20 credit I had from my last disappointment to order a simple pepperoni pizza, what showed up at my door nearly 2 hours later is a sad excuse for a pizza. It looks like something I bought at the grocery store and cooked in my toaster oven. I don't know how this one location can consistently put out horrible quality food without fail but I advise any and all that read this review to steer clear of this location drive a little further up the road and spend your money somewhere else these guys don't deserve it. I hope the owner of the franchise reads this review and realizes they need to make changes because I'd really like to be able to get a decent Pizza in my neighborhood. If the food quality was the same as the argyle location I would probably order from here once a week or more but as it is I'll never order from this...
