I had the pleasure of dining at this charming new restaurant in our community last evening, and I am thrilled to share my delightful experience. My husband had mentioned its name and South Common location to me previously, so we were eager to give it a try.

From the moment we stepped in, we were captivated by the restaurant's eye-catching decor. Abo Elabd, the gracious host, warmly welcomed every guest at the front door, setting the tone for a memorable evening. As we settled at our table, Abo personally approached us, extending a kind gesture of a complimentary specialty tea along with a traditional sweet snack. This thoughtful touch instantly made us feel valued and appreciated.

The restaurant operates on a self-service model, which pleasantly surprised us with its heartfelt approach to customer care. Midway through our meal, Abo checked in on us, offering more tea and ensuring our experience was nothing short of exceptional.

Having never savored authentic Turkish Middle East cuisine before, I was excited but admittedly a bit unsure about the array of sauces, meats, vegetables, and rice that adorned my plate. It was at this point that Abo truly shone as an expert guide. He patiently walked us through the art of wrapping and savoring the various components, demonstrating each step with a genuine willingness to ensure we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

I recently celebrated my birthday at Jerusalem Shawarma, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming ambiance. The servers were incredibly polite, attentive, and made us feel like VIPs throughout the day. Their cheerful demeanor added so much to the celebration.

A special mention goes to Basem, our host for the day. His exceptional hospitality and attention to detail ensured that every aspect of our dining experience was perfect. This was my first visit, as I just moved to the area, and I will definitely be coming back!

Anytime I try a new middle eastern restaurant the first thing I order is a beef donor shawarma wrap. The first I thought I was going to get a small wrap for the price. Couldn't believe the size of rap you receive for $14. Was absolutely huge and packed with beef. I was going to take it to go, but after waiting and brief moment for my food I really enjoyed the atmosphere and decided to stay. Seemed appropriate to eat the shawarma rap immediately it looked so delicious. Did not disappoint flavor was fantastic. I had beef shawarma wrap with lettuce tomato onion pickles garlic spread hummus pomegranate molasses and a single line of hot sauce. Wish I'd have taken a picture before I started eating.

The gentleman at the front, Basem, is extremely welcoming, polite and generous host. He offered some complimentary tea and the baklava to multiple guests will I sat down and ate. The tea was fantastic. I'm used to drinking Turkish tea but I can say the tea they serve is as delicious as I've had at any shawarma restaurant. My only problem with The baklava was that he only brought me one piece and I think I could have ate the whole tray.
