What an interesting steam punk interior design this place has.. Doesnt speak of the food or service that's provided there. 3 or 4 smaller tables to dine in at. Menu is up behind the order counter, or multiple QR codes to scan for a more accessible menu on your phone. There was one individual working, to which they could swiftly get through 4 orders before they got on to the next customers. For my particular order, they forgot I ordered a combo meal, and didn't input in the system that way, so in lieu of that--they gave me the pop for free that I should have gotten with my meal.
The meal, overall, was alright. I would have liked more meat on my sandwich. I ordered the Ruben. It came with a little pile of (I think bbq flavour) chips. I also got a mushroom soup, which was nothing fancy, and still had chunks in it.
Over-all, the sandwich was good. I'd go back to try a different sandwich. I wouldn't dine in again. Service was friendly, and fast, which...
Read moreFinally, Edmonton has a great sandwich shop! I know there are others, but none of them hold a flame to this place. It's a little out of the way but I highly recommend stopping by. As the friendly staff were happy to educate me, everything is locally sourced or done in house. I went with the staple Montreal meat sandwich. I've been to Schwartz deli, and aside from smoking their own brisket, this sandwich comes in as a very close second. Tons of meat!!! Veggies were all fresh and the sauce, OMG the sauce! Just a phenomenal sandwich all around and the price at $10.50 is just right. My wife had a turkey sandwich and loved every bite as well. If I had one complaint it would be that they aren't located just down the street from my house, although, that's probably a good thing because I'd be there every day. Keep doing what you are doing Sandwich Project. I hope Edmonton is ready for it! Go check these...
Read moreOn my break I luckily came by this place the outside looks wacky and cool drew my attention right away. I was greeted right away with great customer service and I'm sure under the mask a smile. He explained how the menu worked and was great to see I could really make my own style sandwich with bakery fresh breads to choose from and trust me had I had more time I woulda done this, however I grabbed a quick already made sandwich from the cooler and was nice to see the convenience of a grab and go option like you would see at the airport. I even got a taste test of the in house made mustard and it's amazing. Prices were not outrageous like some specialty sandwich places are. Inside was neat and energetic feeling. I will be...
