Customer service is the best part of this location. I have had issues with them in the past with missing entire areas of my vehicle or just getting home and seeing that they had not used soap and just moved the dirt around into swirls on the doors and trunk which they said to bring the vehicle back and they would make it right at no additional charge. They are also very accommodating to the customers needs (i.e. low clearance vehicle, tricky clutch, custom ignition, etc.) and assist accordingly but when it comes to actual service of the vehicle it is disappointing at best. Spending $150 on an interior/exterior package, you'd expect the car to be clean once you get it back. They charge the same price for packages whether you have a smart car or a king ranch which doesn't seem logical but would be excellent value if you have the latter and they gave you what was implied within the package. After arriving home I noticed that my brake calipers were mostly dirty, they had missed 20% of each tire with the tire cleaner (presumably the area closest to the ground and not making a complete circle of spray), as well as the interior of my vehicle was still dusty in areas. I understand if they miss a couple spots when vacuuming or what have you but this was blatant laziness or complacency. I understand that no one is going to clean your car as well as you would clean your own car but the whole point of going to somewhere like bubbles or any other hand wash car wash is that either you have more money than time to do it yourself or you don't get much pleasure out of cleaning your own car or both. I know that they would have had me back to finish at no additional charge but did not call and complain as I was going out of town and didn't have time to go back and have them correct their mistakes so much to my chagrin, I cleaned the missed exterior and interior areas myself. I had asked for an inside and out clean and as always there is the upsell of 8 dollars for tires and 6 dollars for rainx wax. I want to state that I drive a small car and it is normally very clean and mostly just dusting and some usual window cleaning is all that is required. I received the vehicle and I was beginning to drive away cause normally the clean level is acceptable but since my last experience I glanced down and seen that the doors had not been done, the counsel had not been wiped and still had a gum wrapper in it and same with cup holder and a small hair pin left in door panel. Clearly, the dust level confirmed it wasn't done at all. The driver's door had fingerprints from the winter of cleaning window from inside still. I returned to the location and spoke to the manager. He started to me I could get the vinyl wiped down better for an extra 60 dollars. I explained to him that no effort was taken to wipe down the car the first time. He stated " we will most definitely get this taken care of and just have to show us the places needed cleaned" for me it shows that if you don't have issues you play for a clean that for the most part you don't receive and don't believe I should have to review diligently for things that should be routine. I am not pleased with that business model. This is the location on 51ave. I will next time try the location in the windemere area and see if that helps. I do caution if that you are required to pay 120 for a small car there are other options us customers should consider and which might ultimately be the thing that changes my loyalty to a business I have been loyal to for 5 years. WRONG! Turns out Written in Terms and conditions they have mentioned that this cannot be cancelled in the second month so I ended up paying $59.99+gst for the 2nd month. My plan started 11th Oct 2018 for 2 months.
Today being the 11th of Dec 2018 I go in drop my car and go to the counter when the lady un the counter said that my plan expired 12 midnight last night. So I tell them to Immediately pull my car out of the drive thru but they say it cant be done. I insisted they do but they said it's already in line. Funny enough later on I find that there was no car in line behind my car and that when we were arguing all this my car still was not touched. Only after I paid I say they started the process.
Shame on you Bubbles car wash for holding ones car and then insisting on paying for service which they assured had already started and then starting the wash only after the payment has been made.
How much lower can a business get for their bad customer service, lack luster car wash service and blatantly lying to my face that the car was being washed when in actuality they were waiting for me to pay and then start the wash.
