Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Edson

I’ve been here multiple times, the amount of times I’ve had my order wrong, and the amount of times staff members were unhelpful with resolving their mistakes was astounding. I’ve had majority of my burgers stone cold and this last one tasted really old and expired, I won’t even eat it out of fear that I’ll get sick from it. The ice cream portion sizes all around are pretty small compared to other DQs and with their blizzards, expect there to be less mix ins always and sometimes even missing ingredients. Sometimes you get someone who is very friendly and pleasant to be around but majority of the time the people working the counter seem very stand-off-ish. Most of the time is an average to below average DQ, but if you come multiple times, expect every 1/3 times to just be a very unsatisfactory experience and sometimes more hassle than it’s worth. It is, however a very convenient location just off the highway coming through town. I do not know if they have changed hands recently but it wouldn’t surprise me, because their service and food quality just keeps getting worse and worse. If you do need to grab a bite to eat here, try on days and a time when it will be quiet, because they definitely struggle a lot more...

Stopped in today at the Edson Dairy Queen and got a four piece chicken strip with fries and asked for a pup cup. Well, first off I guess I should’ve looked in my order before I got 10 minutes out of town or I would’ve given the food right back to them because the chicken strips were edible. They were rock hard and so tiny. Waste of money, but I had somewhere to be so I couldn’t turn around and go back. Secondly, this is the first Dairy Queen that I have ever been charged five dollars for a pup cup. I travel all over Alberta and I always stop to get my guy a pup cup and this is the first time that I’ve ever been charged for it. And hey, a couple bucks fine but five dollars for a tiny little bit of ice cream is ridiculous. My food was terrible and the ice cream overpriced. I will never stop there again as theres other options in Edson that are much better....

Just went there got a crispy chicken sand meal fries were cold and soggy and the last bit of chicken had an awful taste to it like it was rotten almost puked ... this is disturbing .....and dont make excuses for the employees and dont make excuses for the fries as they darn well know when fries are fresh and every reveiw is same thing have the manager do his job instead of worrying about having to throw food out and waste money he was there along with all the other employees cant tell me out of all of them not 1 could make a batch of fresh fries and what ws wromg with that chicken possibly improper storage will update if i get sick and miss out on work .....horrible .....dont say your sorry i didnt enjoy it how about fixing the problem or giving all these people a full refund this is happenig all the time at edson dq ...
