We came to this location (the one in the middle of Edson) tonight. We ordered a coffee, a bagel and an Earl Grey tea. When initially ordering, my hubby forgot to ask for cream and sugar in the tea. Before we pulled ahead, he asked twice that they put the cream and sugar into the tea. The reason he asked twice is because there was only a grunt from the employee after the first time. The reply the second time was "yeah, pull ahead."
We get up to the window to pay and the male employee was unfriendly and curt. When my husband was handed the tea, for the third time he asked if there was cream and sugar in the tea. The employee again said "yeah" so we took it.
Since tea from your store seems to stay around the temperature of molten lava for at least a half hour, I put the cup in the cupholder and enjoyed the aroma while checking to see if the temperature had dropped to "only slightly scalding" so I could drink it. Finally it cooled off a bit, so I open it up to drink and shocker, it's just an Earl Grey tea, black. No cream for sure, tasting seems to conclude no sugar either.
Since we are on a road trip and not a resident who lives nearby, by the time I opened up the tea and discovered the blantant disregard for basic customer service and ineptitude, we were 45 minutes away from Edson. It is obviously not worth driving back over, so instead I plan to email head office and the store directly if I can, as well as leaving this review here.
I've worked in customer service. Mistakes happen. I GET IT. But to take a job at a drive thru coffee shop, and be that incredibly rude and intentionally inaccurate deserves to be forwarded to higher ups.
If you can't even serve a basic hot drink with the requested condiments, why do you...

Drove through edson around 11pm and tim hortons appeared to be the only place open so we went through the drive thru. The menu only displayed breakfast for meals so we tried ordering that but were informed breakfast isnt served at that time. They were also out of the majority of the other stuff we wanted. But being there was no other places open we just ordered whatever was available. The line was about 6 or 7 cars deep and moving at a very slow pace . Once we got to the window we noticed it was only 1 staff member and she was slammed. She was so apologetic and polite. We are absolutely appauled that she has to work under these conditions but still manages to be so friendly. And on top of all that, it is a security issue having her work there alone. The owners of this location should get there hands slapped. Head office will be called in regards to this matter. Kathleen is her name that helped us and we commend her for her hard work . not many employees would work in this type of environment without walking out so the owner's should be praising her for that. And we were told this is a regular occurrence and she is always scheduled alone at night. I suggest the owner's and/or management make some changes and take their employees into...
Read moreNo complaints about the staff/food. But, the archaic washroom situation needs to be changed. The two private washroom stalls labeled Men and Women results in a line up of women waiting for a bathroom while men push past to use the Men’s stall insisting the women don’t have a right to use it, even though the stall is a single private bathroom that anyone should be allowed to use. Label both the washrooms Washroom and have them both be first come, first use. Archaic and awful that women have to wait eight times as long as the men to use a toilet (because everyone knows that women use the toilet more frequently than men), and the current set up brought out the worst in the men the day I was there, with one man shouting “Well this MAN needs to go”, pushing past the long line of women who were requesting that they be allowed to use the stall because they had been waiting a long time. I finally left and went somewhere else to use a toilet. Time to change,...
